Friends of the Missouri City Branch Library hosts book saluk Sale - March 29 Enjoy the best book bargains around at the Friends of the Missouri City Branch Library’s Spring Book Sale on Saturday, March 29, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 1530 Texas Parkway. All books and other materials will be available at tremendous bargains. The selection includes gently-used hardback and paperback books for adults and children, bestsellers, newerrelease movies, and audiobooks on CD. Find books, magazines, DVDs, popular music CDs, and much more at greatly discounted prices ranging from 50¢ each to $2 for a sack of items. The Friends of the Missouri City Branch Library group
is instrumental in providing financial support to the Missouri City Branch Library for adult and children’s programs throughout the year. Money that the group raises from major fundraisers like the book sales and membership dues also benefits the library in other ways, by providing for materials and educational opportunities not covered by the county budget.
