Johnson Development names Reichert general manager Tom Wilcox retires after distinguished career Trey Reichert has been named vice president and general manager of Fort Bend’s Riverstone development, one of the nation’s top-selling masterplanned communities. Reading, MD has been named one of “Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2013” by Houston Woman Teresa Cox Reading Magazine. Each honoree was first nominated for inclusion on the “50 Women” list by a current subscriber of Houston Woman Magazine and then selected by the staff of the publication. According to Beverly Denver, publisher, “Those selected as Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2013 are individuals with vast networks of social and professional connections. They have earned an enviable reputation for possessing an expertise in a particular field or arena. They are considered knowledgeable, credible and trustworthy. communities in the Houston area,” said Doug Goff, senior vice president and chief operating officer. “His contributions to the quality of life in Johnson communities during his Tom Wilcox distinguished career have been truly significant.” Wilcox has been with Johnson Development for 20 years, serving as vice president and general manager of both Riverstone and Silverlake. Previously, he was senior vice president of operations for Newland Communities and was responsible for the creation and initial development of Greatwood and Cinco Ranch. Wilcox also has been active in numerous organizations, including the Fort Bend Family YMCA, Fort Bend Green, Fort Bend Senior Citizens, the Fort Bend Independent School District Foundation, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Urban Land Institute. He is the former chair of the Fort

Bend Chamber of Commerce and now serves on the executive committee of the Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council. Reichert has been development manager of Riverstone since 2005 where he has been responsible for the development of more than 3,000 homesites and an array of amenities, landscaping and infrastructure. Previously, Reichert worked as a project engineer for a large Houston consulting firm, specializing in master-planned community development. He holds a degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. Reichert is an active community volunteer, serving on the board of the Literacy Council of Fort Bend and the Fort Bend Chamber. He also was co-vice chair of the Fort Bend Chamber Leadership Forum from 2008 to 2012. A project of The Johnson Development Corp., Riverstone is ranked No. 6 among the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities and No. 2 among Houston developments.

Fort Bend Chamber President to serve on Board of Directors of Texas’ Leading Business Organization Keri Schmidt, President and CEO of the Fort Bend Chamber, was recently appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Business, the state’s leading organization for employers. Schmidt fills a two-year leadership position that began in January, 2014. “TAB is thrilled to have Keri Schmidt as part of our leadership team,” said Bill Hammond, TAB President and CEO. “ The more involvement from our members, the more effective we will be in championing free enterprise, a healthy business environment and economic prosperity for all Texans.” Schmidt leads the largest single county chamber in the Houston region.
