By running his own farm, Adam will be able to cut out the “middle man” that creates the need for many restaurants to raise their prices. “I am just lucky I have the means to pull this off,” Adam said. “Most farmers charge more to restaurants because of the added work involved, but since I am buying it from myself, I do not have that added expense. That’s one of the things that makes our situation unique.” Another thing that makes the Jeffrey Adams dining experience unique is the building itself – a threestory venue at the corner of Fourth and Marshall Streets that has a basement for private dining, a bar on the ground level, a lounge, and a windowencased upstairs area with seating for up to 70 people. In addition, new outdoor seating on Marshall Street will arrive just in time for spring weather.

Jeffrey Adams’ unique vision for a locally owned and operated farm is a bright example of the inventive nature of local businesses and the vibrancy and energy they bring to our city. For your next evening out, business dinner or wedding rehearsal, try Jeffrey Adams. By eating local food and supporting a local business, you'll promote both your personal health and the health of our community. “It has always been my goal to open up my own place,” Adam said. “To venture out and create an entirely new concept with a new menu was exciting to me when we opened Jeffrey Adams.” The restaurant, although not a steakhouse, specializes in fire-grilled steaks served at reasonable prices. On the menu you can also expect to find quality seafood, signature sandwiches, and of course, fresh seasonal produce. Jeffrey Adams is open every day of the week from 11:00 am into the evening, so if you are looking for a relaxing time out on a Sunday night when many other downtown businesses are closed, look no further.
