Young fashion which dresses the world In 1991, the Inditex Group, one of the world’s largest fashion distributors, launched the Pull and Bear fashion chain with a casual and laid-back commercial offer designed for young people. In just 16 years, Pull and Bear has opened more than 470 stores in the main streets and shopping centres of 32 countries including France, Italy, Russia and Saudi Arabia. It opened its first store outside Spain in Lisbon, in 1993, followed by other cities as diverse as Athens, Milan or Moscow. Since it was founded, Pull and Bear has known how to adapt in order to keep up with the needs of the international younger, turning it into an icon of casual and laid-back style. Pull and Bear does not just make clothing and accessories for men and women, and aims to be something more than just a point of sale. The commercial format offers special spaces in the stores in which the display fixtures are combined with recycled elements from the past, to create the kind of surroundings that young people love. Pull and Bear, as a commercial format of the Inditex Group, follows its parent company’s business model –based on innovation and flexibility– and its way of understanding the fashion with an agile response to the customer’s demands. Inditex, with its eight commercial formats, currently has more than 3,500 stores in 68 countries.
