Danish publisher Autumn 2023 catalogue
KRABAT was founded by Helle Perrier and Tanja R Bisgaard on a cold December day in 2019
We are based in the flat and windswept Denmark.
Our vision is to publish literature for children and young adults that is exciting and fun to read. We want to take them on journeys into space and into the future, help them visit magical places and get to know new people in the stories they read. We also want to make them laugh and sometimes scare them just a little.
All of our books can also be found as ebooks on a range of streaming services as well as the Danish library's digital service used by schools.
We work with debutant authors as well as established ones and we use experienced as well as new freelance illustrators. Our goal is to make space for aspiring artists and creative professionals in Denmark, thus becoming a part of the ecosystem of literature.

Tanja R. Bisgaard Managing Director MSc Management
