Celebrity News But Can It Twerk? Black Chyna Introduces Line of Dolls

“Here I Go!” Mystikal turns himself in for rape. According to Billboard, Rapper Mystikal turned himself in, 3 days after a warrant was issued for his arrest, along with the arrest of a woman named Averweone Holman. The rapper, whose real name is Michael Lawrence Tyler, was charged with raping a woman in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 22, 2016, according to KSLA (local news). Police are reportedly still looking for another woman, Tenichia Wafford, who allegedly attempted to get the victim to drop the charges against Holman and Mystikal and is charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree rape, according to KSLA. In 2002, 14 years prior to this incident, Mystikal was arrested on charges of aggravated rape and extortion after he forced his former hairstylist to perform oral sex. He later pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to six years in prison. Following his release, he was required to register as a sex offender. He was arrested again two years later on a misdemeanor charge of domestic abuse battery. 2 things, Mystical how do you get out from doing 6 years for rape and going back for the same thing? Secondly, how do you pronounce Averweone? Oh, one last thing, Tenichia, how do you catch a rape charge after the fact? When blind loyalty backfires... Mystical spent at least an entire summer hollering “Danger!” and that he was the “P*ssy crook” and women still ain’t listen. Playing Devil’s Advocate tho, I hope he’s not just catching a bad rap because of his past. Let’s see how this develops.

Always Bringing Up Old Mess

While we’re over here not drinking our water, nor minding our business and trying to figure out whether or not R Kelly, does (or does not) have a sex cult where he may (or may not) be keeping young women hostage in return for a promise of fame, BuzzFeed has published an article about the Chicago-born singer with some serious allegations. The article, by Chicago reporter Jim DeRogatis, details the claims of Jerhonda Pace. DeRogatis writes that he was provided documentation of financial settlements reached as part of a nondisclosure agreement between Pace and Kelly. Pace, who risks legal retaliation from Kelly by going public, says those settlements were brokered for her by the attorney Susan E. Loggans. According to DeRogatis, Pace claims she began a sexual relationship with Kelly while still a minor, after meeting him outside the courthouse where she attended his 2008 trial, in which he was acquitted of sex with a minor. Pace claims that she was physically and mentally abused by Kelly at least once during the relationship. So wait...she meets him at the courthouse while he was on trial for messing with a minor, she gets in a relationship with him, things go left, she gets a settlement check, and now she’s spilling the beans? We have to stay focus people! Don’t get distracted by #FakeNews. What part of non-disclosure did she miss? If she doesn’t take that pied pipe and have several seats... Meanwhile, I wonder if you have to go through 12 plays to be initiated into the (alleged) cult. #RealQuestionsThatNeedsAnswers.

According to BET, paying homage to her fans who refer to themselves as “Chyna Dolls,” Black Chyna, the current reigning petty queen, is on her own (reverse) Lifesize movie and has introduced a line of dolls. The collection of figurines comes in a variety of sizes from itty-bitty to an extra curvy Barbie model. The dolls also come with your choice of a skin-tight dress or nude bodysuit with prices ranging from $75 to $400! I love Black Chyna, but the dolls are a no for me dawg.

6 26. A-Boogie[with the

Hoodie] 22- Credited with bringing New York back, A Boogie essentially is who Drake would be if he was raised poor in New York City.

August 11th, 44 years ago at a “Back to School Party”, some kids from the Bronx will live in Folklore forever when they took two turn tables, a mic and a whole lot of youthful enthusiasm and created the new “Hip” way to consume and enjoy music. Hip Hop was born. 44 by hip hop standards is “old” and quite frankly, it’s a young man’s game and although Jay-Z was able to execute an Unicornian feat by putting out a well-received age appropriate Hip Hop album from a 47-year-old, the fact still remains, it’s a young man’s game and always has been. From the teenage Bronxonians [yeah I think I made this word up, but if the editors decide to take it out you can say Bronx natives *insert sad face emoji*], to a 16 year old phenomenon LL Cool J expressing his profound love for his “Radio”, to the pioneer of the first Hip Hop Label Def Jam, founded by Russell Simmons and Mark Reuben. The kids have always had the pulse on the baby born in the Bronx we call Hip Hop. I was tasked to find the top 25 under 25, but partly because some of the most deserving just turned 26 this year like Quavo, who definitely deserves a nod, in true juvenile rebellious fashion here’s my top 26 under 26...

22. Mac Miller 25- Really

low on the charts for Mac Miller, but the Jewish MC from Pittsburgh has been kinda quiet lately but definitely deserving of a spot.

21.Tink 22- The Timbaland

protege sings like a song bird and raps like a bully and is being groomed to be the next thing.

25. Denzel Curry 22- The Miami Native is quietly Florida’s best-kept secret, and a swift contrast to the Trap Rap that’s dominating the scene.

24. Metro Boomin 23- Ok,

before you shoot me, hear me out. I know he isn’t technically a “rapper” but he is the Father of the sound that currently dominates the air waves, and I just want him to trust me... Because Future appears to mean business.

23. Vince Staples 22- The Def Jam rapper from Long Beach with his introspective style, and tales of his childhood, and his father’s drug addiction makes him a very respected MC from the Left Coast.

20. Lil Durk 24- The Chica-

go rapper has hard lyrics, and a whole lot of kids, so obviously the ladies love him.

19. PNB Rock 25- The

talented song writer and newcomer is becoming one of the top collaborators. He’s so far gained a few Gold and Platinum plaques for “Selfish” and “Everyday we lit” with Lucci.

17. Earl Sweatshirt 23-

An Odd Future Alumni who, despite the tongue and cheek stage name, has been compared to Nas. Trust me, his spot is pretty well deserved. Lyrically he is a beast.

16. Dej Loaf 26- Still wait-

ing for a follow-up hit from Try me... But I’m sure it’s coming.

15. Lil Herb 21- Aka G Herbo, the Chicago MC survived the mean streets of “Chi-Raq” and the wave of Drill music and still has a massive following and some MC chops to boot.

14. 21 Savage 23- With

Amber Rose and a hit album, Issa no brainer.

18. No Name Gypsy 25-

If you’re unfamiliar with this female MC from Chicago then look no further than Chance The Rapper’s critically acclaimed Acid Rap Mixtape. On the song Lost, No Name cleverly spews brilliant wordplay in a seemingly emotionless tone about a toxic love lost.

13. Young M.A. 25- The

openly gay New York FemC (I hate this term) probably only has one major smash under her belt, but that’s more than most can say. With oooouuuuuhhhh, I find myself finishing the line “you call her Stephanie? I call her.....” Well y’all know that bar.

12. Lil Yachty 19- Wheth-

er you love his music or hate it, this kid is one of the most polarizing figures in recent history in the world of Hip Hop and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down. Lil Boat is the poster child of where Hip Hop is for the 25 and under crowd, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. Like him or not he’s a tastemaker.

11. Bryson Tiller 24- The

illusive male Lauren Hill is an anomaly in the era of social media because he’s relatively absent from the scene but one of the brightest stars. Exchange being his biggest hit, his body of work collectively thus far is phenomenal.

10. Post Malone 22- The

White Iverson penman is much more than a one hit wonder. With another smash “Congratulations”, featuring another top 25er Quavo, the 6 ft rapper is definitely an influencer.

09. Tyler the Creator 26-

Still the king of the internet and blogger rap, as I call it since he’s never released a radio “hit” if you will, but somehow he’s the biggest amongst festival crowds and consistently competes in record sales and streaming. The Odd Future front man is certainly deserving of this list.

days”, his unique introspective and passion sparks faint

resemblance to Tupac Shakur...

02. Lil Uzi Vert 23- Like 05. Young Thug 25- Per-

08. Quavo 26- The Migos

front man is who made me tweak the rules a bit, to allow 26-year-olds in the mix. If not the author of the triple time rhyme scheme, he and his blood family/group members have definitely popularized the style. Snoop Dogg once joked “everybody sounds like them Migos N@@@@@”

haps a bit low on the list seeing how without his acceptance, there would probably be no place for Lil Uzi Vert. Young Thug is certainly one of kind and his unique voice serves as an instrument all on its own. His production and beat selection make him, dare I say it, ICONIC.

04. Kodak Black 20-

07. Swae Lee(Rae Srem-

murd) 24- The kid that doesn’t miss. The more popular of the brother duo, and the sole hook writer of all their songs and smashes, and not to mention, he’s featured on one of the biggest songs in recent Hip Hop, Unforgettable, with French Montana.

06. VIC Mensa 24- Vic ar-

rives high on this list based on his lyricism and Jay-Z deeming him a “once and a life time talent”. The on and off rhyme partner of Chance The Rapper, and former group mate in the rap collective “Kids these

Fortunately for me, being a Florida native and doing radio, I was able to get a peek of this kid on the rise and becoming a magnet for controversy and a habitual line stepper. There is no doubt he’s the hottest 20-year-old in rap. Just stay out of trouble “Finesse kid.”

it or not, the kid has transcended rap to a whole new sub-genre. He’s perhaps what punk rock is to Rock and Roll. With his catchy and unorthodox hooks, sing songs rhyme patterns, eccentric style and energetic crowd surfing, he’s a major player in hip hop.

01. Chance the Rapper

24- At no surprise, the man is probably the most transcending young rapper since Soulja Boy Tell em’(yeah I said Soulja Boy. Like it or not, he changed the game). Chance is the only guy on the list who doesn’t sell his actual music and also the first to win a Grammy for a streaming only album. Kanye West’s successor and prolific MC with his unique style and delivery and classic material at just 24, he reigns supreme.

03. Travis Scott 25- The

shared protege of Kanye West and King of the South T.i. There was a time he was second fiddle to the then new Grand Hustle star, Iggy Azelea. Let’s just say those days are long gone. Travis is one of the top producers and Kanye’s muse in a lot of ways and dominates the touring circuit and the radios... Let’s just hope he survives the “Kardashian Curse.”

When did you start on your jour: Q ney to being a barber? I planted my seed in ‘07-’08, after barely missing a federal pick up. But when I went to school, they only offered cosmetology. Mind you, back then, they didn’t have all these barbershops. Only shops we had, were in the hood. But I started school, because someone close to me, Gabe, was going at the time. I knew he could show me a few things. I passed everyone in my class and I graduated in 9months going part time, I graduated early! Soon after graduation, I started working. I only made $10 the whole day. I was like, this ain’t for me!! So I stopped. 6years later, I moved to Atlanta and decided to go BACK to barber school and learn how to cut Atlanta style. That’s when I saw the bigger picture and began to take it seriously. I moved back to Fort Myers, went back to Sunstate Academy, and took a series of remedial tests so that I could take my State Board test. A whole six years later. And I passed!! So basically. I started watering the seed I planted 6years later. That’s how focused and determined I was. So technically, I’ve been cutting hair only 3years. My dad does hair and so does my aunt. I was raised in a salon. IG: @Kold_Kutz1

Cash Iz Biz From the Courts to The Mic Cash Iz Biz. The label with the catchy name is more than what it seems. Comprised of members: Always Getting Cash, Smokey Haze, Inn o Sense and K Floyd, this group stands out from your run of the mill rap group based on their closeness with each other and foundation built on the Basketball courts as teenagers.

“Just like any other family...we fight. But it’s never about business or music, because when it comes to that... it’s just this vibe where nothing can stop it.”

Ford Ent Magazine’s own Ladychelle sat down with the label’s CEO Always Getting Cash and Producer Smokey Haze to dig a little deeper into the history of this group based out of Massachusetts, but soon to be a household name nationwide.

Jumping right into the mix with Always Getting Cash. Can you explain your name for us? What’s the story behind it? My real name, my initials are J.A.G., at first I started as Royal, but once I stopped liking that name, I needed something that fit me better. Something that made sense to who I was. JAG being my real initials, I cut off the J and I just kept the A.G. and thought, what would A.G. $ stand for? It’s like a nickname. My friends in the streets always tell me “you always getting cash”, so the name just fits.

deeper meaning? A lot of people, the first thing they get in the surface is, yea, without money the world don’t turn, CREAM rules everything. We’re more or less both sides of the life. The struggle, the pain, the perseverance, the sacrifices to making it in a world so cold. Cash is only every body’s biz that’s what every body cares about. A lot of people have faded away from the key meanings and morals and values of life. So it’s like, Cash Iz Biz represents two sides of life. The people struggling, the mothers on welfare, the man on the corner hustling, the kid with Speaking of names, Cash iz biz? Is there a a dream with a basketball in his hand.

And then the other side of it, the success of it. The flashiness, the money, the cars, the trees, the women. How did everything come about? It started when I was in my freshmen year of high school. My best friend and I, his name’s Cedrick. We got picked up by my cousin. My high school was about 25 minutes from where we lived. And in the morning time, we would hustle. We were talking about life one of those mornings, and he looked at me and said: “man, don’t worry, Cash iz Biz!” And when he said that, my head just snapped and I said “that’s what it’s gon-

na be from now on, that represents us. The struggle and still being somewhat successful in our hustle.” So we just kept saying it over and over, at parties, at the basketball court, it became our motto. I was always rapping at parties, rapping at school, it was one of those things where I was already running around hustling and rapping. And my cousin G2, he was rapping too, so we formed a group, just him and I. We didn’t have a producer. But I had known Smokey Haze because Smokey used to play basketball real heavy. After school, G2 and I would always go down to the Basketball court to practice our 3 pointers and what not and Smokey was always down there as well. My family knows his family, and we played ball with each other for years. That’s where we also met Inn O Sense. She was really nice on the court, she was good at it and loved playing ball. Although as far as the group, we weren’t doing music, we just all knew each other and played ball. And when the ball playing ended, we all kind of went our separate ways, except for me and

my cousin G2, we kept rapping. Smokey, How did you go from basketball to music? I was originally rapping too on the low. I wrote a lot of songs, but never put myself out to the public like that. I’ve been making music since I was 12, 13 and I was rapping and all that. And I kinda gave all that up when I turned 18. I used to love listening to instrumentals, and I felt more of a passion for just making the sounds and being a producer and making the beats and that’s what gave me more pleasure than being a rapper. Because I’m more laid back and I like staying in the cut, I’m not built for the rapper image, I’m the producer image. That’s what I feel is my calling in life. That’s when it all started for me, 19. So I’ve been producing for about 7 years now.

With all groups, there are always different personalities, and on top of that, you guys have known each other for a very long time, how do you resolve conflict? Because it’s Ford magazine, we’ll keep it 100 (laughs). Just like any other families, you got your loves, you got your hates, you got your fights, your makeups, and breakups, but in the end, we always love each other. We fight, but it’s never about business or music, because when it comes to that, it’s almost like a gel, when Smokey throws that beat on, and Inn O Sense starts singing on the hook, and I’m rapping, and when K Floyd’s around, it’s just this vibe where nothing can stop it. Sure, we have differences in our personal lives. We’ll scream at each other, but somehow we’ll go to the party or go into the club like nothing happened. Go to the show, or radio interview like nothing ever happened, and afterward, we’re good. We don’t hold grudges.

Hailing from a State not yet a force in Hip Hop, Cash Iz Biz is sure to soon change that factor. With an album dropping in September, Music videos and a tour in the works, this group aim to close out 2017 with a bang. Follow them on all their social media, and don’t miss the wave.

Dating/Lifestyle

LOVE & HIP HOP: EVE WON! Written by Ladychelle We’ve all been there. We’ve all dated a thotboy or two. Rapper Eve is no exception. She was only 19 when she began dating producer Stevie J. Although at the height of her career,

and he still dogged her out during their relationship, a fact that he has admitted to and baby mama Mimi has confirmed by admitting being caught in bed with Stevie, by Eve in an apartment he and Eve shared. It wasn’t any ole run of the mill relationship either, Eve credits Stevie J with being her first love, made a sex tape with him, and even wrote a song about the man! But the thing about a thot boy is, they can never recognize when they have a real one on their team, and Eve eventually moved on to better things. She landed the son of one of the most ruthless dictators, and longest serving president in the world, Teodoro Obiang Nguema MBasogo, President of Equatorial Guinea since 1979. His son, Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, had a long term on again/off again relationship with the First Lady of Ruff Riders. Although a step up from Stevie J in terms of status and cash flow, Teodoro’s reputation

is plagued with controversies and embezzlement charges. In 2011, the United States Justice Department went to court to seize $70 million of Teodoro’s US assets with claims that, while Minister of Forestry, he levied personal taxes against local and foreign timber companies for licenses to operate and export timber to fund his lavish lifestyle.

No relationship is perfect, we know. But the glow on her face and a constant smile on her lips when speaking of her relationship gives us all hope. She even claimed in a recent interview with Madame Noire, in reference to her relationship with Stevie J, “That was a

learning experience. You meet people all the time. We just happened to fall in love. Umm, but thankfully I knew better, I know better. I am happily in love now and this girl now (referring to herself) he couldn’t even see this. I would be like “I’m sorry, we don’t speak the same language!” (madamenoire.com, Alissa Henry, July 2012). So ladies, in conclusion, let’s all be more like Eve. Let’s all know our worth not just in millions but also in love. We should all be reciting “Who’s that girl” like a mantra until it registers that we are the prize and we are not to settle for less.

Marrying African royalty is almost every Black girl’s dream, but Eve knew when glitter didn’t mean gold, and left that situation in the dust, and ended up in the arms of a white chocolate king, current husband, British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper. Maximillion is a British designer and former race car driver who’s estimated net worth is about $50 million. They met at his annual racing event back in 2010 and Eve not only landed herself a husband but Where is her first love now? became the (step)mother to 4 beautiful children. As of publication, Stevie J does not She had finally won. appear to be with any of his 5 baby ma-

mas, including Joseline Hernandez, mother of his newest addition. Since his love bubble with Eve, Stevie has gone on to collect 6 children with 5 different women and $1.3 Million in back child support.

QUESTIONS THAT NEEDS ANSWERS I’ve been dealing with this for too long. The dude I’m dating is scared to eat p*ssy. Thought I could turn him out but it’s not working. I never met anyone like him, what should I do?

Holistic Dental Care Dental Care: -Who: This is for the mom to be! -What: It is important for you to continue getting your routine checkup, cleanings, eating healthy, and supplementing with vitamins and minerals. -When: The dentist recommends going in every six months. So if it has been a while, make your appointment right away. -Where: I recommend going to a facility that practices holistic dental care, has nonfluoride options, and limit the use of X-rays. Why: Well, digestion starts in your mouth. The enzymes in your saliva and your teeth

break down food. If your mouth is in poor health, the food that passes through your mouth grabs the bad bacteria. Another reason why is, during your dental visit, your dentist can screen for gum disease which, if left untreated may cause things like preterm labor. In addition, if your growing baby does not have enough nutrients from your current vitamins he or she will take it from your body and your teeth may suffer. -How is it everything I speak about seem to relate to one another? Convicted Felon, Business Owner

Make sure whatever decision you make, you can live with it. Because you’re going to have to face those decisions no matter what.

“My name is Marquis McKenzie and I always like to start by saying that I’m a convicted felon.” Sent to prison at the age of 14 for armed robbery and “a few other things”, Marquis refused for that to be the end of his story. Ladychelle sat down with the business owner, passionate about changing the path of troubled youths, to learn more about his story. “Once in prison, I realized I can’t keep going the way I was going, a lot of my people were either dead or back in prison. A lot of my peers who didn’t go to prison were doing things with their lives and I wanted to catch up to those guys. After the birth of my 3rd child, I was like hold on. I want a better future for myself. I don’t want to leave my kids out here.” Although in and out the prison system, still struggling to find himself, still struggling with all the obstacles that come with being a convicted felon in society, Marquis decided to get himself “together, get closer to God” and make his own way by starting his own business in 2015. The Dirt Masters, LLC. A cleaning service that caters to residential, commercial and construction cleaning. “I made my mind up, I wanted to be on top.” Marquis also started a non-profit organization named “The One Foundation” where he works with troubled teens and aim to keep them focused and from going back to jail but instead showing them a different path. “Fast money is good but it can really be a stumbling block to take you out the way. I wanted to have a better future for myself. It was time for a change.” When asked what advice he would give someone who’s a convicted felon and feels as though they have no other choices in life due to their past, Marquis simply answered: “Make sure whatever decision you make, you can live with it. Because you’re going to have to face those decisions no matter what. “ Marquis has a book that is scheduled to be released this November of 2017. Be sure to check him out online.

MARQUIS MCKENZIE

Having a mental illness doesn’t mean that you are crazy or insane, it means that you are human just like the rest of us

How did this idea come about? I always wanted to help others without restrictions. I wanted to be as creative as I wanted to be with my services. Plus, I was raised in the projects, so owning a business was a dream of mine. Do you mainly serve the minority communities? Why that demographic? The idea was to service low economic communities, however, my wife convinced me to expand my services to everyone. I’m an advocate for mental health awareness in the minority communities. As a minority, I understand why seeking mental health is stigmatized, however, as a clinician I’m trying to erase that stigma. How are you getting through that barrier? Educating our people. It’s perceived differently when it comes from someone that looks like them. Based on your work, and on research, who do you believe benefits the most from your services? There isn’t one specific demographic that benefits most over the other. Well, I take that back, African Americans may benefit from it the least due to their resistance to seeking treatment. Explain a bit your unconventional way of doing business by making your services to be mobile, how does that work? Because of the demographics that I want to reach the most, I want to remove any barriers that may hinder them from seeking treatment. So if transportation is a concern, I’ll come to you. Can’t find a baby sitter, I’ll come to you. Anything else you would like to add? Having a mental illness doesn’t mean that you are crazy or insane, it means that you are human just like the rest of us.

Fancy Says

Ladies: Does It Take More Than Soap and Water?

Nancy is a Mother, Wrtier, Advocate and Free spirit. Catch her online Facebook: Nancy Placide IG: itsfancy_duhhh Facebook: Nancy Placide IG: itsfancy_duhhh Ladies, have you heard about this “experience” that’s been swirling the internet?

“Detoxing your vagina” Not really something new, its been around for many years but today’s women are just now catching on. Goes by quite a few names like Herbal tampons, Herbal womb detox, Detox Pearls. But ladies how well do we actually know our vaginas? I was quite curious about this detoxing your vagina thing. I was instantly intrigued the second I heard of it. I read reviews and testimonies and I figured, why not try it out myself.

For the the ones who are lost, vagina detox pearls are these sort of mini round teabag things made of muslin cloth and stuffed with herbs such as motherwort, angelica, borneol and rhubarb. You’re supposed to put them up your “vajayjay” in order to sort of cleanse it. It claims that they fix lots of different ailments such as heavy periods, bacterial vaginosis, fibroids, as well as a proclivity for yeast infections. The one company I decided to go with claims: “our cleansing pearls are 100% natural and therapeutic, intended for holistic vaginal healthcare. They offer support to women’s bodies and restore feminine health.” Before I tried anything, I went and paid my wonderful Gynecologist a visit. Of course doctors don’t think your vagina needs a detox whatsoever. I got the speech: “The vagina is designed to clean itself with natural secretions and should not require a ‘detox’. It contains good bacteria, which are there to protect it. If these bacterias are disturbed, it can lead to infection, such as bacterial vaginosis or thrush, and inflammation. Perfumed products, soaps, gels, antiseptics, and vaginal douches can all affect the pH levels and the healthy balance of bacteria in the vagina, and cause irritation.” Me: “So you don’t think I should try the detox pearls?” Doc: “I would not recommend that you use them at all.”

Okay cool. So, you should probably follow your Doctor’s advice. But I’m a rebel and the curiosity was intense. I hated my heavy periods and wanted to see if this magical stuff worked. Using the Detox Pearls, it recommends I use three pearls, and leaving them up my palace for three days. This will be followed by three days of heavy, slightly scary looking discharge. So basically if your sex life is poppin be prepared to tell your partner “No sex for a week”... The pearls which cost $8 each arrive packaged in a little bag. They’re individually wrapped in silver foil condom-style packets along with two sachets of aloe vera lube, and some pantyliners for “what comes after.” Up the pearls go, far up, right near my lovely cervix, leaving the tampon-like threads dangling out. I got a slight tingling feeling. Not too unpleasant, but a little weird. One hour later, I felt a harder tingling feeling near my cervix. Now here’s a woman who’s cautious about putting things up there, I don’t even like wearing tampons. I’m not sure if what I’m doing is potentially bad for me. Well, I actually do know it’s potentially bad for me, as my Gynecologist already expressly told me it was. I start to feel cramps but like they stated, cramps are normal and part of the process. I suddenly became paranoid. Like, what have I done?...

Now I’m obsessed with looking at them after I take them out. Have they done anything to me? Am I a new woman?...

The morning on the last day, my insides are pretty much dry, tight and almost crusty. I pull the three beads out by the threads, and there’s stuff on them. Like, weird looking stuff. Is it the lining of my vagina? There’s a red stuff coming off the “pearls” but I feel like that could be because the herbs are a sort of red color. Either way, the stinging stops and I instantly feel better.

Going through that experience I can say that I know my body better. I know that my vagina won’t take any sh*t and that I have to just leave it alone, and respond when it calls. Your vagina is your temple, you must protect it. One day at work a few of us girls were having girl talk and pH balance was a topic. A coworker of mine opened up and said that she kept getting yeast infections. I asked her if she had 1 partner she said: “Yes but HE doesn’t”.

Now ladies if you are wondering why you keep getting yeast infections, it might also have something to do with your partner. “Men that have unprotected sex with multiple partners can throw a woman’s pH balance off.” (I’m not a doctor or nurse but I do work in the medical field”). To conclude, most likely I won’t try the Detox Pearls again. Use them at your own discretion. Not recommended if you are pregnant or a virgin. So in my opinion, ladies, does it take more than soap and water? No. Drinks lots of water, eat a healthy diet, do your twalet properly (clean your cooty cat everyday) and don’t just stick or let anything up there. Be one with your vagina.

Kodak Black was granted freedom and came back to the game with a vengeance. Made it worth it how we’ve been screaming #FreeKodak all these months. Most of his tracks are of the storytelling capacity and give you glimpses into the life of Dieuson Octave. Kodak holds nothing back and gives you the real. Apart from the tracks where he’s portraying himself to be a lover boy, we’re loving this selection on this album. We believe street Kodak, but after his latest quotes in the news, we can’t for one second believe Kodak knows what it’s like to have a real woman in his life, so how can he be rapping about love? #WedontBuyit. A new twist to an old track. With the vocal capacities to rival the Keisha Coles and K Michelles, Sonet wows us on this remix for Diced Pineapples. You can truly hear the vocal ranges on this track as she even takes a stab at rapping on her verses. www.MusicBySonet.com

Videos

Fun track, fun video, a cartoon concept, we like it ok. But with it being a generic form of cartoon it sorts of loses its appeal if you’re watching it while listening to the song. The track in itself is pretty dope, pretty catchy. Definately something I can vibe to riding down the highway. But couple the song with the video? We expect more from veteran artist Sho Zoe. Food

The first thing that attracted me to the business is the fact that it offered delivery, but a post on the owner’s Facebook page announcing that the phones were not working and to message them for orders was my first indication that my dreams of delivery were going to be crushed. Message sent... an hour later still no response so I took matters into my own hand. I was determined to give Meme’s restaurant a try. Conveniently located on Fowler Street not far from downtown Fort Myers, The restaurant was easy to find. Stephanie Meme’s new logo, reminiscent of a Haitian Madame Gougousse, was displayed on the front door which made the place easy to spot. As soon as I walk into the restaurant decorated with the traditional Decor of a lunch break/quick dinner food spot, I felt welcomed. Haitian music playing through the speakers would have made my visit that much perfect. A beautiful woman with a head of curly hair was quick to take my order. She seemed a bit nervous and shy and fumbled a bit with the cash register (even stopping mid count of my change to answer the phone). The food looked great and appetizing and shortly after arriving

back to my office, I was ready to dive in. Realizing I didn’t have a drink, I felt a bit annoyed that I wasn’t asked if I wanted one to go with my food. And soon as I sat down, I was even more aggravated that my food did not include utensils. Crisis averted, with me somehow having plastic forks in my office desk drawer, I was finally ready to eat. The food itself was great, not exceptional, as the Saus Pwa was less thick than I liked, and the Pikliz burned my chest. Other than that, the food hit the spot and I was definitely ready for a nap after. Will I go back to Meme’s Restaurant? Absolutely! But I hope that by next time, the delivery is up and running and I remember to ask for a drink. Facebook: STEPHANIE MEME
