Bank Links Bank Links - Account Owner Approval Account owner approval can now be provided to Folio in two ways: 1. Your client can log into www.Folioclient.com and authorize bank links with a simple approval screen that is presented at login. Your client will automatically see this screen at login if bank link confirmation is needed. 2. You can provide that owner confirmation by electronically sending us a copy of the EFT Authorization Form or another authorization form you have in your possession that is signed by your client. (To access a list of all bank links and their current account owner approval status, select the Clients: IFA widget from the Advisor Dashboard and filter for open Owner Approval Bank Links.) Bank Link Rules • All newly created bank links must be approved by account owners through one of the above means before they can be used. • Existing bank links without scheduled transfers require confirmation that we have owner approval before they can be used again. • To identify bank links with scheduled withdrawals, choose the Withdrawals: All widget from the Advisor Dashboard and filter for EFTs and wires. If instead of validating a bank link you wish to delete it, choose Transfer Money from the client's accounts page and then select the Bank Links tab. Find the bank link you wish to delete and then click the trash icon to remove it. Micro-Deposit Verification In addition, all new EFT bank links require micro-deposit validation, in which two small test deposits will be made to the linked bank account, and then withdrawn. Either you or your client must then enter those amounts on our site before the bank link may be used to transfer money.
