The 2009-2010 season saw our program return to the NCAA tournament where we lost a tough first round game to the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Seminole Quick

Obviously, we are always disappointed with a loss, but the Seminoles found a lot to be proud of as a group. With a final record of 22-10, the „Noles went 10-6 in ACC play for the 2nd straight year. We finished #1 in the country in field goal percentage defense, 10th in blocked shots, 19th in scoring defense, and 25th in rebounding margin. This is the second time a Leonard Hamilton coached team has finished 1st in field goal percentage defense (199798 Miami Hurricanes).

So many big things are building within our program. As you move forward with your summer, expect the best and,

Think on These Things “While you are dreaming of the future or regretting the past, the present which is all you have, slips from you and is gone.” - Hilaire Beloc “Life is a one-way street. No matter how many detours you take, none of them leads back, and once you know and accept that, life becomes much simpler.”

“It is defeat that turns bone to flint, and gristle to muscle, and makes people invicible and formed those heroic natures that are now ascendancy in the world. Do not, then, be afraid of defeat. You are never so near to victory as when defeated in good cause.” - Henry Ward Beecher

Faith: A True “Many people fail in life because they believe in the old adage: If you don‟t succeed, try something else. But success eludes those who follow such advice. The dreams that have come true did so because people stuck to their ambitions. They refused to be discouraged. They never let disappointment get the upper hand. Challenges only spurred them on to greater effort.” - Don B. Ownes, Jr

Leadership Lessons 1.

Do not set goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you.

2.

Do not take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless.

3.

Do not let life slip through your fingers by living in the past, not in the future. By living one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.

4.

Do not be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be fearless.
