Toney Douglas finished his rookie season with the New York Knicks and averaged 12.4 pts and 3.6 assists per game in April

Alexander Johnson was named the D-League player of the month for March and was in turn called up to the Houston Rockets to finish the season.

After a mid - season trade from the LA Clippers to the Washington Wizards, Al Thornton finished the season strong averaging 10.7 pts and 4.7 rebs in 24 games with the Wizards.

FSU Hall of Famer Sam Cassell finished his 1st year of coaching in the NBA as an assistant with the Washington Wizards.

National Student Athlete Day

Fight for Air Lung Walk

Freshman Michael Snaer and sophomore Deividas Dulkys participated in “The Big Event” at Langford Green in a different kind of March Madness. They spent the morning and early afternoon playing “field day” games with underprivileged children from the Tallahassee Community.

Freshman Joey Moreau and sophomores Chris Singleton, Luke Loucks and Deividas Dulkys spent the afternoon at a local Boys and Girls club. The „Noles took the kids through a series of stations to help improve their basketball skills and abilities.

Every member of the Seminole men‟s basketball team spent the morning of Saturday April 10th participating in this event where families, friends, businesses, schools and individuals walked to help make a difference in the millions of lives affected by lung disease.
