Wellington Skies Light Up For The Equestrian Season Local photographer Michelle Armstrong has captured the mystical light of the sunset as the day turns to night for our equestrian-themed pictorial this month. Armstrong’s work intrigued us from the start. She elegantly weaves lightscapes throughout this collection from simple blue haze to a cascading dark storm under navy blue skies. The results look like jewels scattered across a dramatic landscape, creating sweeping tones throughout the photography.
Kathrine, featured in a purple taffeta pinched-pleated gala gown with rhinestone embellished closures, kneels to whisper to palomino Holly.
As a throwback to empress days, our models this month get a chance to dress up as if they were awaiting their prince to come and sweep them off their feet, gallantly riding away into the night. The studio provided these turn-of-thecentury-inspired gowns, adding a rich jewel-tone pop of color complementing our princesses in waiting.
