If you are going for “drama,” this can be accomplished with dark and jewel tones, like reds and black or emeralds and golden tones. For coffee addicts out there, the new trend in wedding “coffee bars” will be a favorite for many years to come. How did we not think about this years ago? Just like we expect bar service at receptions, the trend to walk up and order your favorite caffeine drink will make many guests happy. This season’s hair accessory trend sees the return of the classic hair clip or pin-in headpiece. This traditional style of hair has come and gone before, and it is likely this trend will move on in a season or two as well. So whether you opt for the traditional white iced cake, or adorn the top of yours with whole oranges or apples, create your own hashtag or use a hashtag generator, make your color and trend choices stand out by making them your very own.

Black & White
It’s retro glam with a twist! Black and white are strong this season and truly never out of style. The accessories and table designs are minimal but modern chic. This look is architectural in the contrast of the swirled designed linen with the square black plates that give a retro glam feel. The polka dot cake evokes the 1960s, but with soft modern edges. This trend is a little bit Mad Men, but set in the 2016 era.
Candy Apple Red
This trend is all about fall weddings, but with a twist of incorporating fresh produce into the design. The farm tables are designed with vintage china, the green glassware is organic and the mismatched china is inviting. The shiny red apples are a fall staple used as place cards, while the touches of gold give the table elegance. The cake embraces the smells and tastes of fall — caramel apples, cinnamon and the crisp air on a cool fall day.
