Skincare Tips from the Philippine Rugby Team Because some guys only listen to other guys, we asked our newest celebrity endorsers—Philippine Rugby Team’s Andrew Wolff, Chris Everingham, Gaz Holgate and Harry Morris—to teach all the men out there how to take good care of their skin.
Always wash your face when you wake up. A good splash of cold water in the morning does more than take you out of post-waking-up oblivion. It also helps slough off dead skin cells that accumulate during your sleep. Harry Morris says, “Wash your face with a gentle soap every morning to avoid clogging up your pores and breathe life to your skin.”
Moisturize.
Contrary to popular belief, people with oily face (a.k.a. 80% of the total male population) need moisturizers as well. Gaz Holgate says, “Most guys are not aware that the reason their skin is producing too much oil is because it’s trying to compensate for the lack of moisture. Use a simple moisturizer that’s non-greasy to keep skin balanced and reduce oil.”
Apply sunscreen every day.
“I believe that protection is always better than cure. This is especially true for the skin. I apply sunscreen every single day because—as what I learned from the doctors at Flawless—even the light coming from computer monitors and TVs can cause damage to the skin, and it’s true! I really see the difference—less lines and my skin tone evened out,” shares Andrew Wolff.
Tone up.
“Want to minimize the appearance of your pores and reduce oiliness? Wish you could tighten your skin while moisturizing it at the same time?
