This applies equally to the creation of an interior. The collection pieces of Flamant are crafted using artisan techniques that have proven their value over the centuries. Glass vases are mouth blown using traditional methods. Metal cabinets are welded by skilled craftsmen and wooden tables are constructed by hand, using ancient proven methods. Prime natural materials, such as leather, linen, wood, reed and ceramics, contribute to the authentic quality of the range. A patina is applied layer by layer and each coat of paint treated, sanded and repainted to create a unique look for each individual item. The current owners of the estate fell in love with the elegant white mansion, its old mantelpiece and the views across the valley. They have transformed it into a warm family guesthouse with the large fireplace forming the heart of the home.
