We are proud to offer Civil Ceremonies either in the historic Quex House with a magnificent carved staircase and oak panelling, or under our stunning Victorian style Gazebo with a backdrop of our beautifully landscaped 15 acre gardens of informal wooded parkland, herbaceous borders and generous lawns. On The Day Prepare for your day in style in the elegant ‘Roberts Room’. There is plenty of space for you and your attendants to relax and get ready for the special day in this regency style brides dressing room. A wedding co-ordinator will be on hand throughout the day, greeting you on arrival and helping you to keep on schedule so the day runs smoothly.

Surroundings Photographic opportunities at Quex Park provide a selection of unique backdrops which are both fascinating and dramatic. No country house would be complete without extensive gardens and Quex is no exception with acres of beautiful, informal gardens available including lawns, herbaceous borders, ponds, a croquet lawn and a Victorian walled garden. Quex House is situated next to the Powell-Cotton Museum which houses a world class collection of natural history. The African Gallery is available to hire for your drinks reception and is quite a talking point for children and adults alike. A peal of 12 bells from the Waterloo Tower may be rung if you desire. As we are nestled within this large country estate it allows us the luxury to be able to have fireworks - what a perfect way to finish the night.

Wedding Checklist As soon as possible: Book a viewing with one of our event co-ordinators to discuss date availability. A non refundable security deposit of ÂŁ800 is required to confirm your booking along with a completed booking form, the booking form with full terms is included in the back pocket of this brochure. Once your date is confirmed: Book any musicians, band, dj, photographer, videographer, florist, wedding transport, and chair covers (if hiring these) & wedding cake. Good suppliers get booked up fast, particularly on a Saturday. Book wedding insurance. At the beginning of your wedding year: We will contact you to arrange a meeting with our chef to discuss your menu in detail. Three Months Prior: Book a meeting with our wedding co-ordinator to discuss all the arrangements for the day in detail, bring along details of all your suppliers. Settle your three month pro forma invoice. One Month Prior: Final numbers as final balance is due 14 days prior. Three Days Prior: Deliver table plans, place cards, favours and decorations apart from flowers that will be set up on the day.
