Whether you’re planning a lavish party for hundreds or an intimate affair for close friends and family, the elegant architecture, stunning landscaped gardens and luxurious spa provide all the ingredients for your special day.
Civil ceremonies Exchanging Wedding vows with the person you love is the most significant part of your day, so it’s important to choose the perfect surroundings for such a celebration. Fortunately you have the choice of four individually furnished suites at Danesfield House, each one fully licensed to conduct civil ceremonies and partnerships and each one as beautiful as the next. From 5 to 100, our ceremony suites accommodate all tastes. The Versailles Suite Our largest, spectacular suite is perfectly suited to a romantic ceremony for 100 guests. Designed with the famous Palace of Versailles in mind and with gorgeous gold leaf, elegant mirrors, high ceilings and stunning chandeliers, this is the setting for a fairy-tale wedding. The Chiltern Suite Offering fabulous views over the gardens, across to the Thames and with double doors opening out onto the Terrace, the Chiltern Suite is the ideal setting for a ceremony for up to 50 guests. The Adam Simmonds Restaurant With beautifully hand-carved, oak-panelled walls, carefully stripped back creating a wonderfully light and unique ambience, The Restaurant is perfect for an intimate ceremony for up to 30 guests. The Henley Room Decorated using a delicate palette of pastel blues and creams and with an abundance of natural daylight beaming in through the stunning bay windows, making the chandeliers glisten. The Henley Room is fit for the most romantic and intimate ceremony for up to 30 guests.
A larger affair … For larger events and weddings, a marquee is the perfect solution. A cassette flooring which provides a solid foundation similar to a permanent structure, accommodating up to 250 guests. Culinary delights Exceptional cuisine, complemented by elegant, unobtrusive, first-class service makes every dining experience at Danesfield House one to remember. Michelin-starred chef Adam Simmonds inspired the seasonal wedding breakfast menus, from slow-roast beef sirloin topped with horseradish purée and earthy girolle mushrooms, to delightful puddings of treacle tart or pistachio crème brulée. Danesfield offers everything there is to love about a country house Wedding, wrapped in a luxurious hotel package. A menu tasting can be arranged where you will have the opportunity to sample your chosen menu and to speak with our head chef. This will also offer you the opportunity to sample your chosen wine.

From hand-carved four-poster beds to jacuzzi baths, each room is unique and each room is exquisite. Wedding guests Your guests won’t want to go home after a day of celebrating in true style and elegance at Danesfield House, so we’ve arranged special accommodation rates for your guests including breakfast and use of our award-winning Spa facilities. Your wedding guests will receive preferential rates on their hotel bookings.
The finishing touches Spa Danesfield Spa offers a bespoke bridal package to prepare you and your bridal party for the most magical day of your life. Join us for a bridal consultation which will give you the opportunity to discuss your pre Wedding beauty regime and learn tips to make sure you look and feel amazing on your big day. Fireworks Danesfield House offers the perfect setting for a firework display. Wow your guests, and start your evening party off with a bang! Hen party Danesfield Spa offers a fantastic hen package to get you and your bridal party relaxed and ready for the big day. Bespoke packages are available upon request. Linen All of our table linen is white. You are welcome to hire chair covers and sashes which can come in a variety of colours to match your scheme. Our event team will happily dress the chairs for you. The morning after Don’t let your celebration end; reminisce and relive the magic of your wedding day and enjoy a private breakfast for you and your guests. We will dress the breakfast room with your wedding flowers and decorations, ensuring it looks as beautiful as your wedding day itself. Children For guests under twelve years old we offer a special children’s menu. We can also offer a separate room for children to dine and play together away from the main party. Cake We are happy to store your cake on the days leading up to your wedding. We have a complimentary cake stand and knife available for your use.
The fine print Only you … Danesfield House understand how special your day is and we don’t expect you to share it with another bride. That is why, we promise, to hold only one wedding a day. If you would like private use of the whole hotel and function suites, we offer an exclusive package. Details are by request from our events team. Meet the team We ask you book appointments to meet with our events team. They are available Monday to Friday 8.00am 5.30pm and Saturdays from 10.00am – 4.00pm. Your wedding coordinator will always be on hand to answer any questions and offer advice. Please note; Saturdays can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. Securing your booking We require a £1,000 deposit to secure your booking. 90 days prior to your wedding we require 50% of the total invoice to be paid. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your wedding. Cancellation charges may apply in line with our terms and conditions. All deposits are non-refundable.
