Director ’s Notes Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. The God and Country celebration we had at the farmer's market was very well attended and a great kick off to summer. During these summer months, please use plenty of sunscreen and remember to stay hydrated. Here's a construction update. The South entrance is almost complete. This makes an ADA compliance entrance to our building. We will be doing some landscaping in that area as well. The emergency exit doors in the auditorium are complete. These are exit only doors in the event of an emergency. We have lots and lots of smoke detectors and fire alarms that have been installed throughout the building. Once we get everything in place, we will be testing them out so be prepared for a fire drill in the near future. The women's restroom will be complete by June 1. The restroom next to the women’s, which is the ADA compliant restroom, will be turned into a men's restroom while the men's is being renovated. There are electrical repairs being made all over the center as well. The front entrance will be redesigned probably the first of July. Work is being done in the very back of the building repairing some pretty extensive termite damage. The flat room of this building is in pretty bad shape so that is going to be replaced soon too. The money that was donated to us was for capital improvements only and could not be used for operational purposes. Pumping some money into this building is a good thing because we have a great location and a wonderful membership. If you have specific questions about the renovation, stop by. I'll be happy to answer them. I hope everyone will come out and see Sound of Music - it's going to be an awesome show. Also, be sure to stop by and check out the Farmer's Market. Some of the proceeds of the farmers market goes to our center. Have a great summer everyone.

Painting on the Pike Join us to paint a sunflower picture! July 26th 77-9 p.m. Class is $30, includes all of your materials! Led by Roberta Steinmetz
