March Depot St. Patrick’s Day Center Lunch Wednesday, March 20 11:15 a.m. Join us for some St. Patrick’s Day fun & music! Dina Capitani will be here to perform songs from the heart. We hope signyou will sign -up for this event. Cost is $3 for the lunch.

Declutter & Organize Talk. Thursday, March 7th. Let March become your month to declutter & organize! Susan Gardner, an organizer and transition specialist will be here to give tips to problem-solve your specific dilemmas with others who want less chaos, more serenity & possessions that matter. Starts at 9:30 a.m. sign-up today in the front office! Lisa’s Lunchbunch. Friday, March 8th. Going to one of our favorite spots for lunch, Maggiano’s! Enjoy a nice Italian lunch with friends. Leave center at 11 a.m. Cost is $5 for van. Stop the Shock Talk. Thursday, March 14th. NES will be here to educate us on how to keep your electric bill down! Learn the tricks of the trade. Starts at 10 a.m. Please sign-up in the front office! The Hermitage. Friday, March 15th. Celebrate President Andrew Jackson’s 246th birthday! The ceremony will include the Tennessee Army National Guard, music, speakers, and the laying of a wreath sent by the President of the United States on General Jackson's tomb. Leave center at 9 a.m. Admission at the door is $8 for seniors. Cost is $5 for van. We will have lunch at Palmas Verdes after our tour at The Hermitage. Center Lunch. Wednesday, March 20th. Come celebrate St. Patrick ’s Day with us! We will have live entertainment & a nice meal. . Lunch starts at 11:15. Cost is $3. Must sign-up in advance for this event. Craft Party. Thursday, March 21st. We are going to have a stamping party! Bring any tools you have to create unique cards. We have stamps & ink pads galore to create your own masterpiece. Crafts begin at 10 a.m. Cost is FREE but we do ask you to RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Amanda’s Supperclub. Tuesday, March 26th. Go with Amanda to MacNamara ’s Irish Pub here in Donelson. Enjoy your Irish favorites. Leave center at 5:30. Van cost is $1. Sunflower Café. Wednesday, March 27th. Travel to Berry Hill to try a vegetarian, farm fresh eatery! Sunflower Café is an all-vegetarian, farm-to-table restaurant promoting a healthful, nutritious lifestyle in Nashville. Leave center at 11 a.m. Cost is $5 for van. Mule Day in Columbia. Friday, April 5th. Lets head to Columbia, TN for the famous Mule Day celebrations! This has been a tradition for over 170 years. Events include mule-driving contests, a horse show, crafts, barbeque, roasted corn, homemade pies & more! Leave center at 9:45 a.m. Cost is $6 for van. Carter House Franklin, TN. Thursday, April 11th. Tour the battle of Franklin & have a guided tour of The Carter House. $20 for admission & van. Leave at 10:45 a.m. We will have lunch at The Bunganut Pig in Franklin before the tour. Southern Women’s Show. Friday, April 19th. Go with us to the Nashville Convention Center to the annual Southern Women’s Show. Have a chance to meet this season’s Bachelor heartthrob, Sean Lowe! Cost is $16 for admission and van. Leave center at 9:45 a.m. Tickets will go fast, sign – up now!

Tasty Tuesday This month we are featuring a homemade hummus recipe!

Director ’s Notes Great News! . The FiftyForward doubling campaign returns on April 1 and runs through June 30. This is a great time to make a contribution to our center.
