These black holes represent the pain and poison of the unresolved wound that is in the body. Like an internal x-ray into the body Wounds are those holes that the more they feed, the more they grow and expand bringing their lives to chaos. When we present bruises on the body, most of the time they are due to some impact received, now imagine the mark of emotional pain reflected on your body; somehow it is present there, we don’t see it, but the experience is stored in it, until we process it, it remains in the system. Imagine that you could see the wounds of the soul reflected as physical wounds are seen in the body. How would you look?

3. Healing is a daily process, not a destination; your level of commitment to yourself is the level of healing you will 4.receive.Holism provides the person with the tools to be their own healer, and not only facilitates it, but also teaches the models and tools to make it sustainable in the long term. There would have been no way to find healing and understand my being from conventional psychology. I was a traumatized person who didn’t even know about my traumas, because clinically they don’t work with the subconscious behavior that is what generates the original trauma and its deeper ramifications. In conventional medicine they do not know how emotions make the body sick when they are not processed. Staying stuck in symptoms and not in the real root of health problems.

By: Rut Elisa

In my book, Codes of Being, I integrate all the areas that have worked for me to find deep solutions and that will help me make them sustainable in the long term. Healing is a lifelong process, and we can learn to access it. In the beginning we will need help and guidance, but once you learn the skills you can continue to heal yourself throughout life. Healing emotions should not be a miracle or an action that only a few can access, but it can be learned by anyone who shows interest in taking responsibility for their life. I bet on holism as the medicine of the future to bring people to heal on deep levels. This article was taken from the book; Codes of Being for Fiesta Magazine exclusively to be published in the August issue. Q: What effect does it have on your mental health?

Side note: some of my group class students have returned for wedding dance lessons :-)

A: Learning dance patterning and how to maneuver from one pattern or specific dance step to another helps achieve confidence, memory skills. It releases those endorphins! Students, both group class and private weddings, couples/parties, continually tell me they not only enjoyed themselves but found a new path to their physical and mental wellness. The majority are loyal students that thrive in the group classes, which have rotating partners. This increases their skills and allows them to dance better and longer. Several come just to get themselves in shape and lose weight. That typically leads to a passion for dancing and new friends to go out dancing with. I have witnessed weight loss, increased stability, stamina, flexibility, personality growth. Honestly, the testimonials are fascinating!

The book is available on Amazon Scan the code

Q: How long have you been doing this?

Dance CousinInstructor.toWladziu Valentino Liberace, the famous piano player.

The holism offered a different approach than the psychological perspective trauma is worked from the mind through the cognitive behavioral. Don’t get me wrong, that helps to a certain point to give people tools to be able to deal with and cope with the symptoms. However, this does not lead us to find the root of the problem, either does it work with the person to move the trauma out of their body (somatic experiences) or work with the dysregulated nervous system and all the mess that this causes in emotional and physical behavior. of the person... Then, we again lose an important piece when it comes to taking the person to a profound experience of healing. From a multidimensional perspective, trauma can encompass much more than we know or have been taught; From a spiritual perspective, I describe emotional wounds as black holes that magnetize negative energy towards us, due to low frequency emotions that remain in the body through the wounds. If the energy of the trauma is in us, it is the focus of internal infection that contaminates and distorts the entire system of the person until it heals the root of the issue.

There is a fundamental difference in how trauma is managed from a holistic perspective to a conventional one. For me, learning to integrate everything that would lead me to heal in profound ways was what led me to better and more deeply understand the perspective of trauma in people. The experiences that govern holistic health are as follows:

A: Professionally 25 yrs. 1995- Responded to a newspaper ad for a Dance Instructor for Arthur Murray Dance Studio, which allowed me to receive Certifications in 1997. Prior to Teaching, I had some ‘fabulous’ jobs while in High School and after: Balloon Sallon; Performing Dance -a-Grams; Such as CanCan and G-rated stripteases, which were performed at private and public locations (Examples: Bowling Alley, mechanic shop, mock job interview); Flanagans nightclub; Pulsations nightclub; and a Madonna Look-a-Like TV Appearance on AM Philadelphia.

2. Taking responsibility and taking charge of our mental and physical health. This is very empowering, especially when we invite the person to take charge of themselves, instead of waiting for external sources or a miracle for this to happen; this allows you to create a deeper awareness and involves you directly in your healing.

A: How does one Choose? Foxtrot - versatility - smooth style, think Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Ed MomboSheeran.(Latin)- similar to the popular dance Salsa but timing is different.

Q: What got you started in teaching and competitive dance?

Q: What types of dance are your favorite?

Q: How often do you practice?

A: I grew up with the experiences of childhood group dance classes. I enjoyed the typical Acrobatics, Ballet, Jazz and Tap. Acrobatics stuck with me leading me to gymnastics through Elementary and High School. My favorite was floor exercise.

By: Donna McGinn

A: Daily; Its fun! thoroughly enjoy remembering techniques when to rise and fall to music and dance style, etc. Even grocery shopping Musak have different dance styles for each song! It’s more fun when shopping with a friend!

Q: Would you say dance is exercise?

A: Beginner dance has been compared to running and walking and mid to advanced dance is compared to running. Fast arm & leg movements, muscle memory, use of virtually every muscle group, including brain cognitivity; increased blood flow. It is definitely a sport! Think Dancing with the Stars.

1. Holism leads the person to understand that many things are out of our control and others within us. Through holism, people are directed to access the power to decide, because this is what precedes healing.

Hello… As I sit here trying to find the words to describe my latest travel experience, please allow me to introduce myself, I am a mother, I have an enthusiastic job in the space industry, a busi nessperson, and a fashion model who loves to write, talk, laugh, meditate, travel, cook and meet good-hearted people. I plan to talk openly about all things that make life worth living and causes that are close to heart and I hope my message will resonate with most. I will write about everything from family matters to world travel, mental health issues, fashion, food, yoga, meditation, and lifestyle. Welcome to my inaugural column and it’s a pleasure to meet you. Now let’s talk about London. This summer I had the pleasure to visit the city of London for the first time. What a place! Curiously, the UK makes the country number 25 in my travel book but amongst all the places I have been in this world, I can say that the UK has made a special place in my heart. It was a unique, dare I say, regal experience. Everything I knew about London was from the news and the movies. I always imagined it to be cold and gray, cloudy and rainy on any given day, well, I guess I was wrong… Or I lucked out. Out of all days of the year, I happened to pick the week that brought the hottest days ever recorded. Temperatures reached a record high of 100F. Don’t get me wrong, I am somewhat resilient to the heat as I was originally born in Brazil. Public transportation was out of service, some businesses closed for the day, fires broke out all over the city and the AC in my hotel failed, and my room saw temperatures as high as 99 F at one point. Despite the local authorities’ recommendations to stay safe and cool inside, I had to head out and explore. As my yoga instructor says, the first day of any trip should be reserved to absorb the environment - wise advice. In the past, I didn’t allow myself time to settle and that was harsh on my nervous system, affecting my ability to relax, sleep and eat. Which defeats the purpose of any travel where you want to fu-lly enjoy the experience? I value my investment, so it is in my best interest to give myself time to “arrive”. So, on every future trip, the first day is for breathing the local air and allowing my body to settle. Off I went to some of the most iconic landmarks in the UK

TurismBuckingham Palace Buckingham Palace my first stop was a classic landmark and the residence of the Monarchs. I had to start there or else no one would believe I was ever in London. I highly recommend taking one of those bike rides. It will cost you around £15 but it is worth it as you get to sit back and enjoy a nice breeze while someone takes you around the Palace.

AUGUST202224 MIGHTYMAGAZINE 25 England LONDON Travel 2 3

The London Eye and River Cruise. I personally prefer to invest in affordable experiences with the maximum ROI, so I picked a stylish 40-minute cir cular sightseeing cruise along the River Thames. As you cruise along the river, you have a glimpse of the greatest monuments ranging from the Big Ben, the Parliament, the Tower of London, the London Eye and everything in between. It costs about £40 and it includes a ride in the London Eye. What a bargain! Hint: Try to get a fast pass to ride the London Eye, or else you will be standing a long time in line. I also couldn’t write this without mentioning the incredible people I got to spend quality time with during my stay. They added a special touch to the whole experience, so here is my final tip for you. If you are tra veling and know anybody in town, let them know you are around, and make sure to surround yourself with friends and have a good laugh! It does the soul good. Hope this inspires you to pack your suitcase and book that flight. Something tells me that you have been thin king about it and whether it’s the UK or any other special place, I encourage you to do it, and get outdoors. There is no better time than now and today is all that you have, so make the most of it. The Windsor Castle. Windsor Castle is another Royal residence. An absolute must-see for anybody who wants to see how the Royals live. That was my first, and maybe only, royal experien ce. It was tangible and emotional. As I walked through the halls of the castle, I was encapsulated by a vibrant energy. I was invested and present, enjoying every bit of information about the Royal Family, staring at their portraits and their composure. There was something to be learned at every corner. What a remarkable and graceful experience to walk the same halls that Queen Elizabeth II walks and all her ancestors dating back to one thousand years. It was magical, Windsor is a char ming village with shops and restaurants that are also worth checking out. If you are an avid shopper like me, come prepared to spend because you will be tempted to buy everything you see. I bought myself a hand-painted plate with trims of gold saying “God Save The Queen” commemorating her 70 years of reign n- the longest in history. Oh, the little things that make me feel as royal as the Queen.
