_xààxÜ yÜÉÅ exz|ÉÇtÄ W|ÜxvàÉÜ Time seems to be flying faster all the time… Fly. Fly. Fly. I’m literally flying tonight (to the Caribbean for a much needed va-cay), but am used to the feeling as I figuratively fly all the time. I fly from job to job, fly home to make dinner, fly off to charity meetings… and the list goes on. All this day-to-day flying is giving me jetlag! How do we help ourselves alleviate this feeling of overwhelming exhaustion while still keeping up with all that is expected of the “modern working woman?” I’m trying to figure that out… If you figure it out before I do… I welcome your guest letter in the next newsletter! :-) In the meantime, I say seize those few moments of calm before the storm: sip that chardonnay with a girlfriend after a work meeting, or squeeze in yoga between work and dinner. Make your life count… for YOU. Life is all about the experiences we live through… don’t get bogged down by the fluttering around. Grab that figurative passport and go grab that iced vanilla late and a magazine before the flight and ENJOY!

_xààxÜ yÜÉÅ Xw|àÉÜ ‘Tis SPRING! Even if the calendar doesn’t officially say it yet, the weather and my mentality are sure saying it! I am in deep spring cleaning mode! I’m purging my garden, my house, my *gasp* closet and *BIGGER gasp* my make-up boxes (yes, plural!). Spring cleaning and streamlining all of those tangibles definitely makes a happier person, but I’ve started spring-cleaning ME as well. Looking internally I’ve seen what “garments” I’ve been holding onto for way too long and it’s time to purge my mind as well. I’m in the process of letting go those things and people that do not truly make me happy. I want to surround myself with positive people and things that give me pleasure. As our awesome RD Julie said in her letter, “sip that chardonnay with a girlfriend”, I fully intend to start doing more of just that. In fact, as she is currently living up her vacation in the Caribbean, I’m packing for a much needed girlfriends’ trip to the desert and intend to lie about the pool the ENTIRE time! Here’s hoping you see some things in your life that you’d like to spring clean! Have a fashionabulous month!!! Until next time…
