DEFENSE wins championships The Eagles’ offensive ability is evident in their style of play, but the team has also led the A-Sun in defense in each of the last four years. FGCU has held foes to an average of just 55.3 points per game in that span.
Sixty NCAA men’s and women’s basketball studentathletes who excel both on and off the court were selected as candidates. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition.
