With a new emphasis on hand check rules, there is a common perception this season that there are more fouls called and in turn more free-throws awarded. However, since the transition to Division I in 2007, the Eagles have averaged 18.15 free throw attempts per game, and this season they have gone to the charity stripe an average of 20 times per game. The number of free throws made and attempted each year has fluctuated. Here we see that this year the number is not out of line with past seasons.
hot streak With 44 straight Atlantic Sun regular season wins, the Eagles held the nation’s best conference win streak in conference action but saw the streak snapped at NKU last weekend.

Sarah Hansen’s accolades and milestones keep adding up. The senior currently ranks 11th among all-time Atlantic Sun players with 1,756 points. She sits 56 points out of the top-10. Hansen also ranks 22nd in all-time rebounds at 800 boards. She recently jumped one position in each category and is on track to finish among the top 10 in points and top 20 in rebounds
