The Eagles’ fast-paced offense has been crucial this season. Ten of FGCU’s 13 wins this year have come when the team scored 69 points or more. Four of the team’s losses have been at the hands of opponents who have held them to 60 points or fewer.

• DyTiesha Dunson has led the team in assists in six of the last seven games. She’s dished out 27 assists in conference games • The Eagles earned their 300th program victory against Jacksonville on Thursday. The team is 301-62 all time with each win under the direction of Head Coach Karl Smesko. • Knight produced possibly the finest five minutes FGCU women’s basketball has ever seen to end the first half last Thursday. She produced 16 points on 6-of-6 shots with two blocks, one assist, one steal and one defensive rebound to put the Eagles ahead 39-25. • The Eagles have produced five games with fewer than 10 turnovers. • With only 34 points allowed against UNF, the Eagles held their opponent to the fewest points allowed since last year’s season opener against Warner (100-31 W).

MIGHTY NINE We’ve seen two new single-game program records set this season in Sarah Hansen’s nine steals and Whitney Knight’s nine blocks.

Home openers The Green & Blue is 9-3 all time in season opening contests. The team holds an impressive record of 11-1 in all-time home openers with just one loss at the hands of Florida State (2007).

The team’s most efficient lineup (at +39) has been the recent starting five of Atwater, Dunson, Haas, Hansen & Knight, while Dunson, Cobb, Haas, Hansen & Knight sit at +21 and Atwater, Cobb, Haas, Hansen & Knight produce a ranking of +19 with the most minutes player together & thye most points scored.

AWAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS The Hardwood Tournament of Hope marked the fourth-consecutive year the Eagles have traveled for a specialty tournament. With trips to Mexico, Hawaii and the Virgin Islands, the Green and Blue holds a record of 6-5 in the last four seasons.

ATLANTIC SUN ACTION The Eagles hold the best record among all A-Sun teams in the recent history by an impressive mark. FGCU is currently riding a 43-game win streak in regular season action and is 107-12 all time in conference play.
