• The Eagles are 10-0 when outshooting opponents from the field • Sophomore Katie Meador collects a team-high 17.9 percent of available rebounds - with 21 percent of the defensive rebounds - when she’s on the court. The next highest player is Sarah Hansen at 11.1 percent • Knight leads the Eagles in +/- statistics at +10.17 per 40 minutes • In Saturday’s win over Mercer, Knight recorded a +/rating of +28 in just 22 minutes of action. Atwater and Cobb also recorded double-digit ratings at +18 and +13 on the night • DyTiesha Dunson led the team in assists in four of the last five games. STRONG START The Eagles earned their third-consecutive win against Charlotte at home before losing three straight on the road. The team bounced back with two wins to increase its record to 5-3 before finishing the nonconference slate with a win over Saint Francis and losses to LSU, Virginia and Saint Joseph’s.

AWAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS The Hardwood Tournament of Hope marked the fourth-consecutive year the Eagles have traveled for a specialty tournament. With trips to Mexico, Hawaii and the Virgin Islands, the Green and Blue holds a record of 6-5 in the last four seasons.

ATLANTIC SUN ACTION Home openers The Green & Blue is 9-3 all time in season opening contests. The team holds an impressive record of 11-1 in all-time home openers with just one loss at the hands of Florida State (2007). The Eagles hold the best record among all A-Sun teams in the recent history by an impressive mark. FGCU is currently riding a 41-game win streak in regular season action and is 105-12 all time in conference play.

protecting the nest When it comes to A-Sun play, there’s no tougher place to play than Alico Arena. The Eagles currently own a 49-game win streak in conference action at home and hold a record of 58-1 in six seasons at Alico Arena.

RECORD SETTING NIGHT need numbers The Eagles’ fast-paced offense has been crucial this season. Ten of FGCU’s 11 wins this year have come when the team scored 69 points or more. Four of the team’s losses have been at the hands of opponents who have held them to 60 points or fewer.

In the Eagles’ win Dec. 20 over Saint Francis University, the team produced three season highs (rebounds, blocks and steals) and also saw two program records set and tied. Sarah Hansen’s nine steals set a Division I program record, while Whitney Knight’s six blocks tied a record previously set by Knight. The game also saw 12 season-highs set by six different players.
