Osaka - Japan - Competition Winner 2022 Studio mk27 - studiomk27.com.br Temporary Pavilion - Competition Area - 2800 sq.m Project Team Partner - Marcio Kogan Director - Renata Furlanetto Architects - Felipe Bueno, Natália Zaffari Graphic design - Nathalia Lima Expography Team - Magnetoscópio Marcello Dantas Tarsila Riso Responsabilities Concept development in competition stage together with architectural & expograhy team, discussion & coordination with japanese consultants at the concept level, revit modeling, creation of concept renders as part of the design process, development of concept drawings and diagrams for the presentation. After the competition was won, the project was developed from the Concept Design through the Design Development phase, in which I participated together with the other architects in the team in weekly meetings with the Japanese local architect, engaged in Structural & MEP coordination with local consultants, developed drawings & BIM model for submission to the local authorities. The project was the 3rd pavilion in the 2025 EXPO to be sent for approval by the local authorities. Unfortunately the project was canceled by the Federal agency responsible for the pavilion shortly after the approval submission. Responsabilities Concept development in partnership with licensed architect Alexandre Bueno while on break from architecture school. Concept and Schematic design phases developed side by side with architect, with coordination with client/ Interior Designer. Construction documents were carried out by the licensed architect along with the client/Interior Designer. Construction follow-up and site visits were conducted together with the architect and interior designer throughout the whole process.
