FLORI DA CITRUS SP ORTS ANNUAL REPORT 2011-2012

With the end of my term as chairman drawing to a close, I’ll take this moment to review our organization’s accomplishments over the course of the last year. While these facts will all be covered in detail as you turn the pages of this 2011-12 Annual Report, there are a few points I wanted to be sure to address.

DEAR FRIENDS

OF FLORIDA CITRUS SPORTS,

The most notable accomplishment of the successful year was the first-ever sellout (68,305) of the Champs Sports Bowl since the game came to Orlando 11 years ago. In the game’s 22-year history (at either site), it had reached an attendance of 60,000 or more just one other time. Between the sellout of the Champs Sports Bowl and the attendance of its stalwart counterpart to Orlando Bowl Week, the Capital One Bowl, plus the spectators drawn to the Fresh From Florida Parade, Orlando saw an amazing 179,656 fans attend Orlando Bowl Week – another record for Central Florida. Our mission of serving the children of Central Florida continued through our founding partnership with the Take Stock in Children program, Florida Citrus Sports Summer Camp, and the Dream Ticket Clearinghouse for the Capital One Bowl. Florida Citrus Sports’ events generated over $1 million worth of charitable impact locally through these three tremendous programs. Add to these direct contributions the total economic activity of $108 million by Orlando Bowl Week and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Classic, and we certainly fulfilled our mission in record fashion. Thank you for your involvement with Florida Citrus Sports and for giving me the opportunity to serve as chairman. With your help, assistance and voice, this organization has grown to great heights, and we hope that with your continued support, our chances for success will only improve. Sincerely,

MICHEL CHAMPAGNE 2011-2012 CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
