MASTER IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION The main objective of the Programme is to foster the development of top-ranking professionals in the field of Public Administration and/or Governmental Management. Particular importance will be given to the theoretical and methodological background that will enable the students to understand the public sector in particular socio-economic contexts from a multidimensional and interdisciplinary perspective. The Programme was created in 1997 and to date over 200 professionals who have graduated work in high-ranking positions in the Public Administration. The Programme adequately balances different academic and disciplinary approaches, aiming at the development of interpretive skills of teachers and researchers in the Public Administration, or at working as public policy-makers and governmental administrators.

MPA GRADUATE PROFILE The graduate from our Master Degree will be able to: ■ Work in management positions, counselling or public organization control as well as in research positions on governmental administration or policy. ■ Work in Higher Education and conduct research in Public Administration ■ Design, apply and evaluate public policies as well as provide counselling services to public organisms and to private sector organizations that are related to the State.

DEGREE To obtain de degree of Master in Public Administration (MPA) students need to get 51 academic credits and the completion of a final work. The School of Economics and Business MPA is a flexible two-year part-time programme


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS To apply for the MPA Programme candidates should have a university degree and should be working as public administration officers, politicians at different governmental levels, teachers and researchers concerned with public policy and administration, professionals that aim at working in public sector organisms, non-governmental organizations, or corporate social responsibility units that interact with the State. A university degree from Argentinian Universities and/or foreign Universities is required, whose grade is officially recognized by the Argentinian Ministry of Education or the corresponding foreign organism in the candidate’s country of origin.

INTERNACIONALIZATION The Master in Public Administration (MPA) fosters academic and scientific cooperation with national and international education institutions, aiming at mutual collaboration in issues concerning teaching, research, tutorships and student mobility. The Programme falls within the framework of an international network of conventions with American and European Universities: - Framework Agreement of Cooperation with Instituto Universitario de Investigación Ortega y Gasset (Spain) - Framework Agreement of Cooperation with Universidad de Santander (Colombia) - Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain. - Master in Public Administration from Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires - CITAF (Centro Interamericano de Tributación y Administración Financiera) de la OEA (Organización de Estados Americanos) - GETULIO VARGAS Foundation, Río de Janerio, Brazil - ENAP (Ecole Nationale de Administration Publique) Quebec, Canada

ACADEMIC STAFF The Programme academic staff, from Universidad Nacional del Litoral and other high-ranking national and foreign universities, excel in their fields and have completed their postgraduate degrees in international highly prestigious Institutions. Moreover, due to the academic-professional profile of the Programme, academic teams are renowned professionals in the government management, which enriches learning and helps create appropriate contexts for our graduates to develop, together with a sound theoretical education, the competences expected in the field of public policy and administration.
