Our Church is pleased to support CBF Global Missions in moments like these where bearing witness to Jesus Christ takes place through being compelled by the Gospel to walk in each other’s shoes. "The Gospel compels us to bring about a transformation in people's lives and into the communities because all people in all communities have a contribution to make. There are over 3,000 refugees in North Carolina. We look for ways that will seek to be beloved community to those who literally spent years on the refugee highway, unable to work and far away from family. We advocate on behalf of them and look to find ways to help their transition. This ministry of welcoming refugees is all about building beloved community together as we practice radical hospitality by being willing to go outside of our comfort zone. Because to truly cultivate beloved community, we need to somehow, some way walk in each other's shoes."

DAYCARE BOARD MEETING: There will be a Daycare Board Meeting this Wednesday, April 18th immediately following the devotion. DAYCARE NOTE: This Thursday, April 19th the Webster’s Chapel Volunteer Fire Dept will bring several fire trucks to the daycare for a presentation for the children. Please share this info with other residents nearby. We do not want them to be alarmed when they hear the sirens and see the fire trucks at the Daycare. FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS: Donations for the monthly food pantry is an ongoing mission. Thanks for all the donations received to insure we continue this vital ministry to the community.

Cost is $5 per person (age 6 & up) and $2 per plate (ages 2-5) and no more than $20 per family. MENU THIS WEEK: Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Baked Beans, Potato Salad and Dessert. COOKS: Patsy Boozer Team

Bring your favorite finger foods and be here at 6pm for an evening of food, fellowship and fun! THANKS: Dear Church Family, We are forever grateful for your love and support during this difficult time. You have been so kind to our family. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement, cards, visits and the wonderful meals you prepared for us. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing church family. We love you all! The Family of Cherie Clark <<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>> Thank you for your support while Gary was sick. He had many close calls but he pulled through because of your prayers and concerns. Thank you for the food, cards, visits, etc. I do not know what I would do without the support of my church family. You have always been there for me over the years.
