Our Church is pleased to support CBF Global Missions in moments like these where bearing witness to Jesus Christ takes place through making connections and making life changes. "Monika and Damian worked in a clothing distribution warehouse (sweatshop) and lived with ten other workers in a house provided by their boss. They wanted a place of their own but did not have enough money for the deposit. We needed someone to house sit while we were in the United States for three months, so Monika and Damian agreed. After saving enough for the deposit during that time, they looked for an apartment. After months of disappointing searching, Keith helped them contact one final apartment-finding agency. FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS: Donations for the monthly food pantry is an ongoing mission. Thanks for all the donations received to insure we continue this vital ministry to the community. April Receipts: $115 YOUTH BOSTON BUTT SALE: Proceeds go to funding the student’s trip to Passport 2018 in Danville, VA. Cost for a whole butt is $30, 5 pounds of chopped BBQ is $30, 2 pounds of chopped BBQ is $15. If you’ve placed an order for a “half butt”, please see the student you ordered from and make the corrected selection, or see Jason if student isn’t available. Students, please inform your clients of the order changes. Apologies for the mistake, and thanks for supporting the student program at FBC Williams! GLOW IN THE DARK EASTER EGG HUNT: This Wednesday, March 28th, the Children’s Ministry will host the annual Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt at 6pm. Pizza, chips, and desserts will be provided before the hunt. We have plastic eggs, but donations of candy and glow sticks would be greatly appreciated. CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE: You are cordially invited to an evening of Celebrating Excellence featuring keynote speaker, John Pierce, Executive Editor and Publisher of Nurturing Faith.
