Our Church is pleased to support CBF Global Missions in moments like these where bearing witness to Jesus Christ takes place through an unshakable source of love. "My dad had disagreements with the government, so they attacked us. Our family had to flee Burundi. My brothers and I ended up in Uganda. We found Refuge & Hope [a ministry of CBF field personnel Jade and Shelah Acker], where a program helped me start a business of poultry farming. I can now support what I'm doing and my educational opportunities. Refuge & Hope has taught us to love other people. I ask God to create an unshakable source of love in my heart, so that I can change people's lives like mine has been changed."

Cost is $5 per person (age 6 & up) and $2 per plate (ages 2-5) and no more than $20 per family. MENU THIS WEEK: Roasted Pork Loin, Mac & Cheese, Black-Eyed Peas, Salad, Cornbread and Dessert. COOKS: Sarah Ann McGinnis Team
FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS: Donations for the monthly food pantry is an ongoing mission. Thanks for all the donations received to insure we continue this vital ministry to the community. Amount needed per month is $1499. Total Received for February: $625 FREE INCOME TAX PREPARATION: SaveFirst is a program of the nonprofit organization Impact America that provide free tax preparation services to working families in our community. Please pick up one of the cards located in the church foyers for more information about appointments and locations. POLAR BEAR SWIMMING: Dig out your swim suit and grab a towel! Next Sunday, February 18th from 2:00-4:00 pm, all are welcome to join us to swim in the INDOOR pool at the Anniston Aquatic Center. No Sunscreen Needed! PLEASE NOTE: Shallow end of pool begins with a depth of 3ft. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Volunteers are needed at the J.C.O.C. If you can give 4 hours per month, please see Cindy Newsome or call the J.C.O.C at 256-4351891.
