Our Church is pleased to support CBF Global Missions in moments like these where bearing witness to Jesus Christ takes place through a taste of home. "Beloved Community at our Persian Ministry looks like members preparing food, serving it and cleaning up. Although our members often struggle financially, this is how they welcome others in appreciation for what God has done for them. This is how they use their gifts in the Beloved Community. If you have lived in another country, you know how significant it is when you have a taste of home. This is what the Persian Ministry provides. Recently, one whom we welcomed expressed his appreciation for Beloved Community by outlining in great detail his future plan to create a Welcome Home Ministry for those who will come in the future.

Cost is $5 per person (age 6 & up) and $2 per plate (ages 2-5) and no more than $20 per family. Menu will be: Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Baked Beans, Chips & Dessert COOKS: Patsy Boozer Team CLEAN UP CREW: Jamie Davis, David & Jean Jenkins
FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS: Donations for the monthly food pantry is an ongoing mission. Thanks for all the donations received to insure we continue this vital ministry to the community. Amount needed per month is $1499. Total Received for December Food Pantry: $513 SOMETIMERS APPLE TRIP: The annual day trip to Blue Ridge GA to get apples is scheduled for Thursday, October 19th. The cost is $25 per person. Payment for the trip is due by next Sunday, October 15th.
SOMETIMERS RIVERBOAT CRUISE: Join us for a day trip to Chattanooga TN for a Riverboat Cruise lunch on Monday, November 6th. Cost of the trip is $75 per person. To add your name to the list please see Mike Duncan or call the church office. Please note: last day to sign up for this trip will be next Sunday, October 15th.
QUARTERLY BUSINESS MEETING: Our Quarterly Business Meeting will be held this Wednesday, Oct 11th at 6pm. This will be a review of 3rd quarter revenues and expenses.
