Since1987,FortBendChristianAcademyhasbeen committed to its mission to glorify God through excellence in Christian Education. As I reflect on the school’s history of providing an exemplary, Christ-centered education to students, I am reminded of the generosity of our founders and so many wonderful families, who have made it possible for FBCA to pursue its vision of being known among the leading independent Christian schoolsinthenation.
As you read the Impact Report for the 2022-2023 fiscal year, you will notice the tangible results of financial gifts made to FBCA. Recently,agenerousdonationtotheFineArtsDepartmentprovideda newstate-of-the-artsoundsystemtotheLowerandMiddleSchool Cafetorium.Thesoundsystemwillenhancethetheatreaudience experiencebydeliveringpowerful,full-rangesoundwithevenvenue coverageforthisperformingartsspace. Acrossmanydifferent programsandgroups,suchasthepraiseteams,theatre performances,Lower&MiddleSchoolChapel,LowerSchoolmusic performances,andtheMiddleSchoolMusical,willenjoythesame thrilling,full-rangesoundandaccuratemonitoringasprofessional performers.
ThedonationalsoincludedfourIn-EarPersonalMonitoringSystemsfor theMiddleSchoolPraiseTeamtobeusedduringclassandChapels. Replacementofthecampuspublicannouncementsystemtoa modernplatformwhichalignswiththelatestsecurity recommendations.Thenewsystemincludesquickcallbuttonsin everyclassroomandasinglesystemwhichreachesacrossall buildingsoncampusformassnotificationsduringdrills, emergenciesorallcampusannouncements.Thenewsystemalso providesadministrationtheabilitytocallintotheclassroomswhen needed.
