OVERVIEW Summer@Farragut is a unique six-week boarding experience for teens entering grades 8-12. They will attend college-prep classes and participate in fun activities while living in campus dormitories at Admiral Farragut Academy. Completion of a six-week academic course earns a full high school credit. Students may also choose to attend camp for two-week, four-week, or six-week sessions, for no credit. Elective courses, also for no credit, meet for two consecutive weeks unless otherwise noted. Daily on-campus activities include games, competitions, movie nights, and waterfront activities (kayak, paddleboarding, and sailing). Weekly excursions include trips to nearby beaches, amusement parks, shopping, whitewater rafting, ziplining, and more! Attendees will be able to strengthen their academics and learn about different countries and cultures from the diverse group of other campgoers. In the past years, attendees represented many areas of the world including China, Colombia, Denmark, Italy, Peru, Russia, Spain, and Ukraine to name a few, as well as numerous states within the United States of America.
