Editor’s Desk Diversity Something I have noticed in recent years is the political left is on the attack against diversity. The whole cancel culture from the political left shows they do not celebrate diversity. They do not embrace diversity. They are attacking and attempting to destroy anyone who is diverse from them. Their hypocrisy is astounding. They run around claiming to celebrate diversity when they actually are trying to attack and destroy it. The double standards from the political left are horrible. From Nancy Pelosi to Gavin Newsom we see examples over and over again of how they say one thing and do the exact opposite. Then they blame others for exposing them as complete and total hypocrites. The Democrat controlled media lets them get away with it. Instead they obsess over Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz did not cause the black outs, or cold weather. Too much green energy is part of the problem in Texas. Those windmills froze up and stopped spinning. Maybe some solar panels would have been a wiser course of action. The problem with green energy is the cost. Why hasn’t BIG TECH made the costs cheaper?

I am sick and tired of companies like Coke spewing such hate speech and racist things. I believe in treating everyone equally no matter the color of their skin. The content of their character is more important to me. Do they obey God or openly rebel? Do they humble themselves to follow the path God put before them? When people ask me the questions about what they should do I always point them to God. Seek God and humble yourself. God will prune things away from you that you do not need. Family Friendly Gaming (FFG) was created in March of the year of our Lord 2005 as the first ever Christian video game magazine. The goal of Family Friendly Gaming is to report on video games from the family view point. Family Friendly Gaming takes a fair and balanced approach to all news, previews, reviews, interviews, features, and other articles found within. The secular video game media reports mainly on the most morally bankrupt games and call those games good. The major secular media reports on the bad side of video games mainly. Most other Christian media outlets claim video games turn the player into a zombie, or they completely worship video games. Family Friendly Gaming reports the good, and bad side effects to video games. It is the belief of the owners that readers are smart enough to come to their conclusions without those in the media handing opinions to them. Those of us at Family Friendly Gaming believe by giving you the facts, you can decide for yourself. There are plenty of really good video games on the market that teach wonderful lessons. Both inside the Christian video game market, and from non-Christian video game developers. Family Friendly Gaming seeks out these video games to bring them to your attention. Since it is unknown before playing a game how family friendly it is; it is possible that this magazine will preview a game, and then the review will expose problems previously unknown. Family Friendly Gaming promises to always ask the question: “how God feels about certain video games.” God’s opinion on the matter is more important than any mere mortal. How do we know they are any better? Sometimes we don’t know. Sometimes these other online retailers are just scams to steal your money. I had that issue with an online retailer when I purchased Ring Fit Adventure. They did not ship the item after two months. The status was at the shipping company. I put in my request for my money back through Paypal and then they immediately shipped it and it arrived within a week. I guess they thought I would

Woe to You Part 1 I found myself studying the woes to the Pharisees and found so much wonderful content to go over. Matthew 23:13 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.” It baffles me that some people are so angry and hateful that they want to stand in the way of others getting closer to God. They don’t try to guide or direct them to anyone who can help. Instead they stop others from getting to where they need to go. Jesus used very strong language against those who were in the way of the Kingdom of God. Matthew 23:15 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded,

you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.” Imagine making all of that effort to ensure someone is going to hell with you. Too many man made traditions are worthless, meaningless and make no sense. Matthew 23:16 “Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but anyone who swears by the gold of the temple is bound by that oath.’ 17 You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred?” It is so much better to never swear oaths in my opinion. Instead do your best to do God’s will for your life. What do you prioritize in your life? How important is justice? What about being faithful? What about mercy? Matthew 23:23-24 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have

practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24 You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.” How many in our modern age obsess about one facet of the faith and ignore all the others? I have run into people like this in my life. They have a very tenuous grasp on one thing and ignore all the others. I have met pastors that make this mistake. Constantly self examine your own motives. God Bless, Paul Bury

Going Green expands the management gameplay mechanics and introduces farming, allowing prisoners to grow produce and create a self-sustaining compound. Prison Architect: Going Green is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Prison Architect: Going Green offers new means of making an environmentallyfriendly prison. Players can farm the land, construct green energy sources, and customize their compound with sustainable materials. Crafty Inmates will seize the opportunity and produce thematic contraband, increasing the challenge to keeping a prison under control. Going Green Key Features Fruits of Labor: Farming introduces a new type of Prison Labor, allowing prisons to grow potatoes, wheat, apples, and more. We Would Play That! There are all kinds of cool family friendly video game ideas out there. This column features ideas of video games we would play. We hope games like these are created in the near future. Can you make it happen? If I ever get the money to create a video game I know the first game I would create. I want an Animal Crossing like video game with a church and a pastor. I want there to be church services twice on Sunday and once on Wednesday. I want the pastor to quote Holy Bible verses during the sermons. I want some Christian music to play during worship time. I want the different characters from the town to talk about how good the sermon was on Sundays. I want that to be a major part of the game. Not the complete and total focus. There are

plenty of other cool things that can be done to make the game even better than Animal Crossing has ever been. One of the biggest complaints against Animal Crossing is the poor randomization. The same KK Slider songs appear multiple days in a month whereas others never appear. The same items appear in the store multiple times in a week, yet we never find something else we really want (to finish off a set in the house). Remove the randomization issue altogether by having a catalog of every single purchasable item in the game. Rare items will just cost a lot more. That makes it so much easier to ensure players can finish off that set. It might take players months to save up for certain items, but you will know that you can actually get it. The same goes fishing and catching bugs in terms of randomiza-

tion. If there is a rare bug or fish it will appear in certain places only. So players will look in that area and once a bug appears there it will be the one they need. Maybe do something like after catching twenty-five of one bug another starts appearing more often. Reward players that work hard for something. Playing Animal Crossing can be depressing at times because we spend hours trying to get one diving creature, fish or bug. The randomization seems so unfair most of the time. Another thought is multiple paths to the five star island rating. Animal Crossing New Horizons has one path for players. Your island must have so many of this, and so many of that. Why not have different paths like a nature island being five star if there are so many trees and flowers. Give players more options.

Hopefully you have been watching the live streams or videos I have done of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury on the Nintendo Switch. This is one of those games that I generally enjoyed playing. There are parts in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury that are obnoxious. Certain power ups are required to get through or get those green stars. Collecting green stars opens additional levels for the player to enjoy. The Captain Toad levels are fantastic and fun to play. The graphics in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury has drastically improved from the Wii U to the Nintendo Switch. In many ways most of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is rehash. Four family members can enjoy Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury at the same time. Families can also collect stamps in most of the levels in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. Turning into a cat is one of the cool aspects of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. I also really liked the boomerang Mario and eating cherries to multiply my characters. Violent content is a part of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. We jump on, kick, explode, swipe, and dispose of enemies in a variety of others ways. There are ghost levels that are always creepy and obnoxious in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. Part of me appreciates the familiarity of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. - Paul

Did you enjoy the live streams I did of Pikmin 3 Deluxe? I hope so because those YouTube live streams were slamming and jamming. It has been some years since I played Pikmin 3. I was pleasantly surprised with Pikmin 3 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch. I am thankful I had the money to purchase this after the failures from the people representing this game in PR and Marketing. We have three crewmates to control in Pikmin 3 Deluxe. We must find them, and food to survive. Along the way we learn we must save Captain Olimar as well. Earning new Pikmin allow us to revisit previous levels and explore them fully. The red Pikmin are

fire resistant, the black Pikmin can break glass, the yellow Pikmin are electricity resistant, the purple Pikmin can fly, and the blue Pikmin can go underwater. The more I played Pikmin 3 Deluxe the more I remembered different strategies. The boss characters in Pikmin 3 Deluxe are very fun to battle against as well. Losing Pikmin is no big deal since we can earn more of them thanks to flowers and other objects brought back to the onion. The aliens have funny names for the fruit they find on the planet. The aliens have a very foreign culture as well.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe includes thirty-six missions to complete and extra side stories. We can get hints on where to go next in Pikmin 3 Deluxe. We can also earn badges while we play Pikmin 3 Deluxe. The Piklopedia is present. We can battle the bosses again after beating them if we so choose. The issues families can have with Pikmin 3 Deluxe is violence. The Pikmin fight against a plethora of creatures for us. When they or the creatures die a little soul is shown leaving the body. Two family members can enjoy Pikmin 3 Deluxe at the same time. SCORE: 76 Hopefully you were able to enjoy the live stream Teen Gamer and I performed of Fifa 21. We played this soccer game on the Playstation 4. I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming had the money to purchase this game after the PR and Marketing people failed us. This game is a step up from last year which is a good thing because this franchise has been playing catch up to eFootball PES for years now. Fifa 21 plays better and it feels better. Fifa 21 continues a long standing franchise history of being controversial and highly divisive in some of its content, and agreements. It really is a shame EA Sports decided to do this and alienate so many of

their audience. I guess they do not mind losing sales to stay on the good side of the radicals on the far political left. Volta Football is back and it has been expanded. Women players are still being pushed even though very few care about that, or are interested in watching women sports. Families can pick a variety of teams from Fifa 21. We can play teams from countries or world teams. Player stamina can be a problem if you like sprinting a lot. Thankfully it is a quick one button press (R2) to swap players in and out. I appreciate that. I hated having to go through multiple screens to swap in and out players. Fifa 21 looks decent and the announcers are fantastic to listen

to. The stadiums have the feel of being at a soccer match. Multiple family members can enjoy this game that likes to be connect online. Speaking of online it is close to half of the content in this sports video game. I feel like the Fifa 21 is shrinking in terms of modes, but growing in terms of the gameplay. The obnoxious reminders and trying to force us into certain modes is really annoying. If you can’t get eFootball PES 2021 Season Update then you should look into Fifa 21. Fifa is still training eFootball PES but it is starting to claw its way back up. Maybe in a few years it will be competition. - Paul

UFC 4 SCORE: 43 Did you enjoy the live stream I streamed of UFC 4? I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming had the money to purchase this video game on the Xbox One. UFC 4 can also be found on the Playstation 4. Last game I mentioned never tell me EA Sports was done ruining a franchise. UFC 4 is a great example of this. This game is even worse than the last one. EA Sports must be breaking some kind of record somewhere. The issues families will have with UFC 4 are blood, bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, violence, and more. Content creators will have to deal with copyrighted songs while they are creating their fighter and elsewhere in this cage fighting video game. UFC 4 is the most miserable fighting game I have played in my entire life. I would be working away on a guy and then bam out of nowhere one punch or kick knocked me out.

I was never able to get any of those one punch or one kick knockouts myself. EA Sports considers this fun? I work on a guy and can never take him out with one punch no matter how many times I rock him. There are female fighters in UFC 4 if you are into that kind of a thing. I do not like watching women fight personally. That is such a waste of beauty if you know what I mean. If you don’t know what I

mean then look it up. Fighters can go to a couple of new venues like the back yard if they want. Not really sure why anyone would want to but whatever. UFC 4 is suffering from major balance issues. I know very few of the fighters in UFC 4. I picked some good ones and fought weak ones. They of course would one punch or one kick knock me out. It is like fighting One Punch Man or something. Maybe EA did not make an UFC game but a One Punch Man game instead. UFC 4 includes single player, local multiple player and online multiplayer. Since this is EA Sports there are in game purchases. As I write this review some fighters were added as paid DLC. I don’t like this game enough to keep playing, let alone give EA Sports any money. What FFG paid was too much in my opinion. Did you enjoy the live streams I did of Fast & Furious Crossroads on the Xbox One? This video game is also on the PC and Playstation 4. This game frustrated me on so many levels. We sort of race in Fast & Furious Crossroads from time to time. We spend more time hunting down things like tanks and rockets. We use weapons to shoot the enemies. Some levels have us bash and smash into the other cars to disable them. My biggest issue and problem with Fast & Furious Crossroads are the loose controls. This is why I failed so many missions so often. Even with all of those failures Fast & Furious Crossroads can be beaten in under five hours. That is not worth the price of admission in my opinion. The storyline is pretty standard for the Fast & Furious franchise.

We get a few new characters and plenty of well known ones. There is no open world in Fast & Furious Crossroads. We are given each area and each missions. We are not able to explore. If you try you will get mission failed because there is a limited amount of time to complete the objectives in Fast & Furious Crossroads. The objectives are not always clear or easy to comprehend. It took me some trial and error

in Fast & Furious Crossroads. Hacking was one of the biggest problems I had. Once I figured ut what to do in Fast & Furious Crossroads it was a breeze. I wanted to like Fast & Furious Crossroads so much. I enjoyed the movies. Fast & Furious Crossroads does not do the franchise justice in my opinion. We are kept on one path the entire game. Fast & Furious Crossroads feels small to me. Especially after playing Forza Horizon video games. Fast & Furious Crossroads looks decent. The voice acting is good. We do get bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and plenty of violent content. I got so tired of shooting other vehicles in Fast & Furious Crossroads. I felt like that was the focus and not the racing action. I am thankful FFG had the money to purchase this game. - Teen Gamer

I am very thankful Peter paid for the Xbox Game Pass so we could play Wreckfest at no additional cost to Family Friendly Gaming. I expected Wreckfest to be horrible on so many fronts. I was shocked to find a strong racing title with all kinds of parts falling off the cars after collisions. The effects of the damage are customizable of course. Wreckfest does not solely focus on the collisions. The racing action is very stable. I learned I could avoid collisions and race to first place. How cool is that? The issues families can have with Wreckfest are violence, and bad language. The music can be turned completely off. That deals with the

offensive content there. It is an all or nothing proposition though. We can not select to remove certain songs and leave others. Wreckfest is 18.51 gigs on the Xbox One at the time of this review. The modes in Wreckfest are Career, Custom Event, Multiplayer, DLC Store, and Tournament. Some sample race sections are Regional Juniors, National Amateurs, Challengers, Pro Internationals, World Masters, and more. We can race all kinds of vehicles in Wreckfest ranging from lawn mowers to RVs. Many of the cars in Wreckfest are a bit on the older side. I enjoyed racing in them. We can upgrade our vehicles with better parts as we level up. Drifting is important in Wreckfest, especially when

racing on dirt. Some of the tracks in Wreckfest are insane. There was this one with a large area in the middle and loops making a figure eight plus additional loops. The carnage in the middle as vehicles went full throttle criss crossing was insane. I had fun playing Wreckfest. So did Noah. He is still playing Wreckfest and enjoying it. There are demolition derbies in Wreckfest. I loved some of the goals in Wreckfest like get so many points, or get a certain place. I did not expect much from Wreckfest and it delivered way beyond my expectations. I have added this game to our physical copy purchase list. - Paul

I am very thankful we had the money to purchase Fairy Tail Collection Four on DVD. If you watch our FFG Haul live streams you knew this review was coming at some point in the future. I cannot believe how quickly we blitzed through Episodes 73-96. It took 562 minutes to watch all of Fairy Tail Collection Four. It felt short to me. We flop around for a few episodes and then get into the Edolas arc. Serious problems coming in the future for Fairy Tail. Seeing different versions of the characters in Fairy Tail Collection Four was really strange. In many cases two characters just swapped personalities. Seeing an angry authoritarian Lucy was really weird. We finally learn where Happy and Carla are from. Which mean a lot of flying cats. The human and cat interactions are interesting in Edolas. I am glad the entire Edolas arc is complete and a certain someone came back to

The humor of Fairy Tail Collection Four is fascinating indeed. I enjoy some of the characters and stories in Fairy Tail Collection Four even if they are predictable. We purchased a region two version of Fairy Tail Collection Four so there might be some differences in the US version. Fairy Tail Collection Four can be watched in Japanese if you prefer those voice actors. I know I am weird liking my anime in English. Since I played the Fairy Tail PS4 video game I know where the dragons are. Fairy Tail Collection Four hints at that multiple times. The new magic council in Fairy Tail Collection Four seems very nasty indeed. There is also a new character that seems to know Natsu. Or maybe a character I forgot. His death touch to everything is quite scary. I like how the end of Fairy Tail Collection Four teases what is coming up soon. - Paul

Onward is set in a fantasy world where magic is almost gone. Magic was hard to perform so people came up with technology. No need for magic to give you fire when a light switch could be turned on instead. Ian and Barley Lightfoot are born into this world. They go on a quest when they get a magical staff, spell, and Phoenix Gem to bring their dad back to life for one day. I had been warned that Onward contained extremely controversial and highly divisive content. be. Ian is very shy and not very confident at all. Barley is also shown as a screw up, and partially to blame for only half of their father coming back to life for most of the movie. Both sons grow in this movie. There are plenty of law breaking moments within Onward. Disobedience is a major reaction to authority in Onward. Plenty of peril and some violent content found within Onward. The mental illness of sexual deviancy is presented as normal behavior in Onward. Sure it is really old sounding but it was jamming while I was getting schooled badly in this game. The key to Evander Real Deal Holyfield’s Boxing is to create your boxer with the right attributes. We pick a name, head, skin, hair, trunks, physical attributes and mental attributes. Evander Real Deal Holyfield’s Boxing includes Exhibition, Tournament, Create, and Options. As we defeat boxers we unlock boxers above them. Evander Holyfield is the only real boxer

within Evander Real Deal Holyfield’s Boxing. The rest of them are fictitious. I found Evander Real Deal Holyfield’s Boxing to be pretty hard at first. Once I jacked up the boxers power Evander Real Deal Holyfield’s Boxing became a bit easier. There is some fun to be had in Evander Real Deal Holyfield’s Boxing. If you are into retro hand held video games you might find Evander Real Deal Holyfield’s Boxing an interesting game to play. The wrestlers in WWE 2K Battlegrounds have a cartoony look to them. Sort of realistic mixed with squashed or squat characters. They break out of boxes before the matches start. The action can be very fast in WWE 2K Battlegrounds. Certain moves can go all over the ring and are hard to defend against unless you are blocking. Foreign objects like chairs break after they are used a few times. Cage matches have an electrical quality from time to time.

All three tables in Williams Pinball Volume 6 light up really well. The astronaut floating around over the Space Station table is pretty cool. Funhouse has some neat electrical things going on. Dr Dude even has some neat things happening with the three parts of the personality. I was able to get skill shots on the Dr Dude’s table with ease. Leveling up does improve these tables thankfully. The middle outs are my biggest problem with Williams Pinball Volume 6.

Arc System Works publishes some very interesting video games. Kowloon High-School Chronicle is a classic example. This hybrid video game mixes styles in a way I cannot remember playing before. Kowloon High-School Chronicle is part dungeon crawler, part visual novel, and part role playing video game. We play a treasure hunter in this first person perspective dungeon crawler. Kowloon High-School Chronicle was first released in 2004 and not in the US. Now US gamers can play this game remastered in HD.
