Acknowledgments This is the book recording older people’s stories, but there are also a lot of stories behind the project. When curating this book, I have tried contacting different person who work with older people. With their help, I have done some successful interviews. This is thanks to the following people. Interviewee, Mary, Josephine Stanton, Dolleen Bow, Betty Underwood, Grace Falus, Jennifer Smith, Ben Barker and Patricia Simmons. Volunteer social activist, Ben Barker, who linked me up with the Linkage and Southville Center and told me much about his projects in Bedminster. Roma Widger, the manager of Southville Center who organized Monday Club, welcoming me to do interview with the folks and providing a lot of information of local older people service and organisation. Julie Sach, manager of St. Monica Trust, who spent time to talk with me about her experiences on working with older people, arranging and promoting the interview for me.
