Brief
BRIEF EXPLORE INNOVATIVE IoT APPLICATION SCHEMES. DEVELOP A PRODUCT CONCEPT, PROPOSE A DESIGN AND PROTOTYPE IT.
PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES MARKET ESTIMATES: “remote patients monitoring estimated $1.1 trillion a year by 2025” SOCIAL TRENDS: “two-thirds of people age 65 and older need assistance from either a mobility device or another person to go about their daily activities.”
MARKET SECTOR SATURATION: IoT early stage in nursing solutions* REPORTED CASES: - elders lost in the city (dementia); - nurses are overloaded with work and have little time for conversations with the patients; - elders fall down without means of calling help
*no remote ( outside facility) monitoring /existing project poorly developed
