compatible dive computer, and within other limits established during predive planning.

Multilevel and Computer Adventure Dive Considerations 1. Have divers plan the dive and stay within the maximum

no decompression limits calculated using the eRDPML.

Performance Requirements 1. Calculate the no decompression limits of a two depthlevel dive using the eRDPML. 2. Execute a no decompression, two depth-level dive that begins with a direct descent to the deepest level, progresses to the second depth level, followed by a direct ascent to 5 metres/15 feet for at least a three minute safety stop. 3. Ascend between depth levels at a rate not to exceed 18 metres/60 feet per minute using a depth gauge and timing device or dive computer.

National Geographic Adventure Dive Note: Only instructors teaching at PADI National Geographic Dive Centers may conduct this dive.

Considerations 1. Because the Adventures in Diving Manual, Multimedia and video do not include information about the National Geographic Adventure Dive, have divers use (and retain after the course) the National Geographic Diver Almanac and complete the Knowledge Review. Performance Requirements 1. Rig a weight system distributing the weight for comfort and trim. 2. Adjust for proper weighting – float at eye-level at the surface with an empty BCD, while holding a normal breath.
