Friday of Week Two Constantly travelling (2 Corinthians 11:26) Life is made up of many journeys and is in a very real sense a journey itself.We are ‘constantly travelling’, following the Good Shepherd, confident that he will show us, indeed has shown us by his words and actions, the way to the Father (John 10:1-10; John 14:1-12).The memorial acclamation ‘Christ has died, Christ is Risen, Christ will come again’ expresses this, it is a shout of joy as we remember what God has done for us, a reminder of Christ’s triumph over death.The sufferings and hardships we endure, he has endured. Death which will greet each of us, greeted him. Jesus’ resurrection from the dead, we hope to share (Philippians 3:10-11). At last, all-powerful Master, you give leave to your servant to go in peace, according to your promise. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared for all nations, the light to enlighten the Gentiles, and give glory to Israel, your people. Amen.
