Since joining EC in 1987, he has held a tenured position as a Professor of Biology, served as Division Chair of Science and Mathematics, and was the 1999 recipient of the Helen Cleaver Distinguished Teaching Award. Paul’s focus on student outcomes is consistant throughout the division, whose faculty have earned the past three Helen Cleaver awards. Paul’s unique leadership and tireless devotion to the development of Sanders Hall are further testaments to his commitment to students’ futures.
