International Building Code Compliance Fact Sheet Overview Provide modular building structures for residential and commercial applications that meet and exceed International Building Code compliance.

Description Wall and roof systems designed from light gage steel, EPS and EFIS materials. All raw materials are accepted in regular building practices internationally. The unique fabrication process utilizes these products in a modular construction form. All fasteners meet or exceed building regulation internationally.

Exterior Material •

Exterior EFIS (cement like material) to meet and exceed international Building Code 2004 Exterior EPS (Expanded Poly Styrene) to meet thermal performance values of R15 on average. Exterior IBS Roof System engineered and tested to meet any dead load requirements for the International Building Code 2004. Exterior Roof tile or shingle to meet International Building Code 2004. Exterior windows and doors to meet or exceed energy compliance as well as air, water and structural requirements. Low E coatings available to achieve higher U-‐ Values.

• • • •

Internal Material •

Internal EFIS and EPS material help achieve even higher thermal performance. Exceeds R15 with this option (performance up to R60 is also possible) Internal Drywall allows a minimum of 45 min fire rating where required. Interior light gauge studs within EPS walls are a minimum of 18 gauge which exceed International Building Regulations for exterior walls being 24 or even 26 gauge. All Steel members to be a minimum of galvanized or galvalume 90. This exceeds general building code which is generally galvalume 40 or less. All interior plumbing and electrical to be International Code Complaint.

• • • •

Conclusion All raw materials and fastening methods are derived from current accepted building code compliance products. Skylar building can be adapted to meet code in virtually any country.
