The winery building was constructed not too far from the palace in 2006. And the contemporary architecture has been defined by this long tradition. The dedicated team at Esterházy Winery boasts international experience and are all passionate about viticulture and oenology.

TOUR AND TASTING „EXCLUSIVE“

The Esterhazy family has defined viticulture in the region for centuries. Burgundian Pinot Noir grapes were introduced to Burgenland by Countess Maria Lunati-Visconti, an Esterházy princess by marriage, with the assistance of a French oenologist. Further imports like Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc followed and today number among Burgenland’s most important grape varieties.
