TERMS & CONDITIONS PLACING AN ORDER Please contact your broker or sales representative to place an order with Malmborg’s. Except when ordering from availability, please allow an 8-week lead-time for propagation. MINIMUM ORDER Our minimum order is 12 strips of Vegetative Annuals and/or Combos per shipment or 8 strips of Regal Geraniums and/or Grasses per shipment. If these products are combined, the minimum order would be 6 strips of Vegetative Annuals/Combos and 4 strips of Regal Geraniums/Grasses. There is a $20 additional charge for any order under minimum. See ‘PACKAGING’ below for quantities of plants per box. REVISIONS & CANCELLATIONS Order revisions or cancellations will be accepted no less than eight weeks prior to the scheduled ship date. Brokers who revise or change orders within eight weeks of shipment will be expected to resell or otherwise dispose of the product at their cost.

New orders or additions to orders being picked-up by customers on Friday must be received by Tuesday at noon (Central time) of the pick-up week.
These discounts do not apply to freight or winter pack box charges. RECEIVABLE TERMS Our terms are Net 30 days from our invoice date. A service charge of 1.5% per month (18%APR) is applied to all past due accounts. Invoices may be paid by cash, check or credit card. If payment is made with a credit card at 30 days there will be a 2% convenience fee. If payment is made by credit card at 10 days there will be no convenience fee.
CLAIMS Order acknowledgments will be provided for each order booked and must be reviewed by the broker for accuracy. Malmborg’s will not accept liability for error on any order or portion of an order shipped as acknowledged.
PACKAGING Preforma 26 strip is sold as 25. They are shipped in multiples of 100 (4 strips). The packaging setup allows us to put either 100, 200, or 300 in a box. That determination will depend on the product size at shipping time. Most products in the Preforma 26 strip will be shipped 300 in a box.
Any shipping claims must be filed with the broker and reported in writing to Malmborg’s within 48 hours of receipt of the shipment. All quality claims must be filed with the broker and reported to Malmborg’s in writing within 14 days of receipt of the shipment.
A minimum order will be 300 plants (12 strips) if only the Preforma 26 strip is ordered. Once 300 plants are ordered, then the increments will be every 100 plants for even boxing for shipping. Please remember that for customers either picking up product or having it delivered by Malmborg’s/ Wagner’s, those orders do not have to be multiples of 100.

Kwik Kombos are in a larger Preforma plug in multiples of 17 per strip. This 17 strip has the same width and length as the Preforma 26 strip mentioned above. These 17 strips can be packaged with the Preforma 26 strip. Ellepot 18 (Regal Geraniums & Dipladenia) and 24 strips (Grasses & Spikes) are 1/2 the width of a standard tray. Both Ellepot 18 and 24 strips are shipped in multiples of 4 strips. Each box contains 4 strips. These cannot be combined in boxes with the Preforma 26 strip or the Kwik Kombo 17 strip.
A minimum order of only these strips would be 8 strips to fill two boxes. For even boxing for freight, orders must have increments of four strips of these items. Assortment trays are true size plants and will ship two per box. This tray uses the same box as Ellepot 18 and 24 strips. A single assortment tray can be combined with two Ellepot 18 strips or two 24 strips to fill a box. What would be a minimum order when combining different trays? If you have four trays of either the 18 Ellepot or 24 trays, then you would need 8 strips (200 plants) of the Preforma 26.
WARRANTY/LIABILITY Malmborg’s warrants that the plants are viable. There are no additional warranties, either expressed or implied. Malmborg’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the plants. PLANT PATENT PROTECTION Propagation of patented plant varieties is prohibited without a license.
SHIPPING Shipping instructions must be submitted with your order. Malmborg’s will not be held responsible for damage caused to plants during transit. There is a winter pack (Styrofoam lining of box) charge of $4.50 per box for shipments that require cold protection. FED-EX
Airline shipments are made collect to the customer via select carriers - Delta, Alaska, and Southwest. To ship prepaid on a broker’s account, please make arrangements in advance.
Federal Express shipments are shipped second day unless requested otherwise. If the number of boxes for a Fed-Ex shipment is more than 5, it may be shipped Fed-Ex First Freight depending on the level of service to the area.
Shipping instructions must be submitted with your order. When requesting Air Freight, please provide us with the name of the closest airport for delivery.

Delivery on Malmborg’s truck is available in the Twin Cities Metro Area and may be available in areas not serviced by the Cooperative Delivery Program. Delivery schedules outside of the Twin Cities Metro Area depend on total volume per week.
Customer Pick-Ups are scheduled at the end of the week. Postcards will be sent a week in advance to notify customers of their pick-up date. If date changes are needed, customers must contact the Malmborg’s Shipping Department at (763) 428-2061 ex. 235.
COOPERATIVE DELIVERY PROGRAM The Cooperative Delivery Program (Co-op Delivery) will offer weekly temperature controlled delivery throughout the Midwest. Malmborg’s and Wagners contract with third-party delivery services to deliver our product to florist warehouse hubs. From the hubs, heated vans/trucks will deliver directly to our customers. Delivery schedules will depend on volume to each hub per week and trucking schedules of third-party services.

Orders subject to routing change if volume is not sufficient or weather prohibits meeting schedules.
There will be limited Co-op Deliveries the week before Valentine’s Day (week 6) due to cut flower deliveries. Co-op delivery charges depend on total volume of Malmborg’s and Wagners orders. Please see table on the right for minimum and maximum delivery charges.
