Holland is a region in the western part of the Netherland. Holland lies on the North Sea. In the east it borders the Ijsselmeer and four different provinces of the Netherlands and in the south is Zealand. Amsterdam is a capital of Holland. In this then people speak Dutch. In Holland the summers are not too hot and the winters are not too cold.
Holland have very nature and is the largest production of Tulips. There are 300 different tipes of this flower. Piet Mondrian. Piet Mondrian was born of March 7, 1872, in Amersfoort, Holland. When he was 33 years old, he painted ‘The River Amstel’, and two years later, he painted ‘Amaryllis’. He changed his name by Mondriaan. In 1911 he moved to Paris and changed the name again by Mondrian. In Paris was influenced of the style Cubism of Picasso and Braque. With that style he painted ‘The Sea’. When he was 47 years old, left the Netherlands for Paris and working on his own project. At 71 in the fall of 1943, Mondrian moved into his second and final New York studio at 15 East 59th Street. In this he worked in the De Stiil art movement. Mondrian died of pneumonia of February 1, 1944 and was interred in the Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York. Paintied:
