Water-based, one-component, highly elastic, highly printable, water resistant Indicated for using onto automatic, semiautomatic and manual machines Formaldehyde, phthalates and heavy metals free APPLICATION FIELDS To be used as protective encapsulants in combination with conductive (Eptatech’s SETCIT12410, SETCIT70010) and/or functional inks to print stretchable circuits. They provide structural support and mechanical stress absorption; serve as primer in case of porous final surfaces; act as a barrier to water improving washing resistance. softness nice look and feel transparency well-suited for wearable applications when comfort is a main requirement

high mechanical robustness (e.g. can be crimped once peeled-off from support) good dielectric properties high dry content (for high thickness print) resistance to hydrolysis (SEPRPE10020) suited for wearable applications when solidity is a main requirement

SPECIFIC APPLICATION FIELDS  Transfer on fabric by means of a heated press (“transfer printing” process) and peel-off cold from the sacrificial support

 

Structural element in “self-standing” circuits directly peeled-off from the sacrificial support Adhesive decals to be applied to non-textile surfaces Possible transfer on fabric by means of a heated press (“transfer printing” process) and peel-off cold from the sacrificial support

SUGGESTED TRANSFER CONDITIONS 180°C, 4 bar, 15 seconds or 130°C, 4 bar, 30 seconds A thermoplastic adhesive, like EPTAINKS TEXIFLOCK E-FF, is needed

Possible final applications: 

on textile surfaces by using “transfer printing” technique, common in the Textile Industry

on a non-textile surface, as a “decal”

“self-standing” circuits, resembling those printed on elastic membranes, that can be peeled off from the printing support

Sheet resistivity: < 30 mOhm/sq@25m

Sheet resistivity: < 40 Ohm/sq@25m

Curing step: 150°C, 5 minutes or 120°C, 15 minutes Strongly recommended
