More on Envoy on Track Once clients are pre-approved their loan package is submitted to underwriting for underwriting approval. Most clients will have underwriting approval prior to placing an offers!!! Buyers are issued a Underwriting Approval letter to submit with their purchase offer. The letter will clearly state their loan file has been approved by an underwriter, providing them with an advantage over other offers. Allows for a much quicker and efficient closing. Updated documents, disclosures, contract and earnest money, appraisal, and title is all that will be needed for final approval. Great for competitive offers, “tough” clients or “unique” situations. Eliminates “guessing” on how an underwriter’s decision and expedites the final approval process.

Branch Manager: Greg Selters Greg Selters began his mortgage career as loan officer in 2002 with a national direct lender. Greg quickly became a top producing loan officer and within a year was promoted to Branch Manager. He has also worked as an Area Manager and even owned a small Colorado mortgage company for a few years. Greg’s experience, industry knowledge, and willingness to do whatever it takes for his clients are why his clients and business partners love working with him. In his time in the mortgage industry, Greg has helped thousands of people purchase a home in Colorado or refinance their home. Greg has been named the Preferred Lender by Top Agent Magazine, name 5 Star Professional by 5280 Magazine, and has been a Top Producer for every company he has worked for. Greg lives in Erie with his lovely (and super smart) wife, Melissa, and his two kids, Colin and Keira. They love any outdoor adventure they can find, camping, boating, hiking, snowboarding, or just exploring Colorado. Greg spends a lot of his free time coaching youth wrestling and football, watching Keira dance, and Colin play any sport that he can. As a Colorado native, Greg is obviously a huge Bronco, Avalanche, Mammoth, and Outlaws fan.
Operations Manager: Dave Baloun
Since 1993, Dave has spent the last 20 years in the real estate industry. From Title Insurance to Lending to Asset Management and once again Lending, Dave has seen and worked the mortgage process from beginning to end. Dave is our Operations Manager and ensures every loan closes on time with no hassle. Dave is originally from a suburb northwest of Chicago, but moved to Colorado when he was high school. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Liberal Arts. In his free time, Dave enjoys golf, softball, camping, providing putting lessons, and most of all, spending time with his awesome daughter.
Loan Officer : Jeremy Murphy Jeremy has been helping clients become homeowners for the past decade as both a loan officer and branch manager. He has extensive knowledge of all mortgage loan options but specializes in helping first time buyers achieve their goal of homeownership. Jeremy appreciates a good challenge and is more than willing to put in the time and effort to ensure his clients receive the first class service they have come to expect. He has received numerous industry awards, including CHFA Top Producer (2012, 2013), but his greatest satisfaction still remains seeing a first time buyer get their keys at closing. Jeremy is a lifetime Colorado resident who grew up in Fort Lupton and Westminster. He has been married to his lovely wife Chelsea Murphy for the past 7 years and they have two children, Logan (5) and Addison (3). They keep him busy with their activities and sports. He enjoys spending his free time with his family traveling to locations both in Colorado and beyond.
Loan Officer: Matt Powell Matt started in the mortgage business with Greg Selters is 2006. Intrigued by the challenge that the industry faced at the time and also looked forward to helping people realize the excitement of home ownership. Beginning at the ground level, preparing loan packages, gathering documents, and compiling necessary information for loan to be approved, he soon realized that he could see himself in the mortgage industry as a career and thriving with the day to day challenges that the business presented. He is thrilled with his involvement in growing the branch exponentially over the years and is extremely excited about the direction we are headed. It creates great satisfaction watching homeowners take the keys of their new home! Matt is a Colorado native who grew up in Westminster, CO and currently resides in nearby Erie, CO, about 5 minutes from the Lafayette Branch location. Matt has been married for 9 years to his wife Jamie (Ball) Powell of Arvada, CO and they have two healthy boys, Cole (6) and Logan (4) that stay busy in youth sports, camping, riding bikes and beating each other up. They are growing up fast and are the built in excuse for Matt’s balding head and Jamie’s once a month trip to the salon to cover up the grey! In their spare time as a family they enjoy the Colorado outdoors, traveling, attending sporting events, and camping. When the work and family madness subsides, albeit for short periods of time, Matt relaxes by playing Golf, watching the Denver Broncos, coaching high school football, and helping the local little league football team.
Loan Officer: Michelle Stroup Michelle has been working in the mortgage industry since 2010 as both a transaction coordinator and loan officer with Envoy Mortgage. Her time working directly with processors and underwriters provides her with valuable experience most loan officers can’t match. Her thorough knowledge of mortgage guidelines and processes provides the ability to help her clients move through the loan approval process with ease. When able to run freely, you can always find Michelle enjoying adventures in the Rocky Mountains. As a Colorado native, Michelle loves to snow board in the winter, camp and 4x4 in her Jeep in the summer. Michelle also enjoys volunteering as a dance instructor, in community events and watching the Denver Broncos and her alum CU Buffs on the football field.
Loan Officer: Sean Selters Sean Selters has been working in the mortgage industry since 2012. His experience has a transaction coordinator working directly with processors and underwriters has given him insight into the guidelines and requirement of more programs than most loan officers will gain through their careers. With this knowledge, Sean is able to come up with creative solutions to even the most challenging file, insuring his clients are able to purchase the home of their dreams. While outside of the office, like most Colorado natives, Sean likes to spend his time outdoors with his wife.. In the summers you can find him camping, hiking one of Colorado's 58 14ers, attempting to wakeboard at Boulder Reservoir, or going for a relaxing ride on his bike. During the cold winter months, Sean likes to snowboard when he can find a weekend off from coaching youth wrestling.
Processor: Lora Martinez Lora has been in the mortgage industry for over 20 years. She has seen a lot changes in our industry since 1991, but she still loves helping people buy their first home. As a processor, Lora doesn’t receive much credit, but she does A LOT to ensure our clients obtain underwriting approval and close on time. We are lucky to have one of the best processors in Colorado and in the industry. Lora is married to her husband, Ernie, and a mother of five. She enjoy spending time cooking for my family and volunteering to help the local wrestling club. During the fall and winter you will find her in a gym watching my son wrestle.
Transaction Coordinator: Lori Naranjo
Lori Lujan Naranjo is our Transaction Coordinator and has been with our team since 2012. Lori has been in the customer service field for the past 22 years and is a great addition to our team. Lori works with the loan officers and processors to ensure no details are missed. She is also bilingual and works directly with our Spanish speaking clients. Family is a big part of Lori’s life. She is a mother of a wonderful 14 year old son! With the help of her family, she takes care of her mom with Alzheimer’s. She enjoys anytime she can get with the entire family of 40!! Lori’s free time is spent watching her son play football and wrestle for Centaurus High School as well as volunteering her time in the booster clubs for the two sports. She is also a big fan of the Denver Broncos, her AFC team, & the Washington Redskins, her NFC team. Even though, everyone has explained to her she can only have one favorite team.
Junior Loan Officer: Danielle Galvan Danielle is a Junior Loan Officer for Jeremy Murphy and has worked in the mortgage industry since 2012 (she is also working on her MLO license). Danielle loves helping her clients with the purchase process. Danielle’s attention to detail and caring personality make her a great asset to our team and why her clients love working with her. Danielle is a Colorado native, loving mother and wife. As the proud mother of two children, she spends her free time watching her son wrestle and having tea parties with her young daughter. She enjoys being active and is an avid runner. As a previous collegiate runner she loves taking to the outdoors and finding new running trails to explore. On most weekends, you can find her entertaining family and friends. She has a passion for people and loves cooking and hosting parties.
Junior Loan Officer: Janelle Alvarado Janelle has been in the mortgage/real estate business since 2009. She is currently a Junior Loan Officer for Jeremy Murphy, while she is working on her MLO license. Janelle works closely with processing, agents, and clients to ensure the process is stress free. Janelle’s goal to know everything and passion for her clients is why so many people love working with her.
Janelle comes from a large family (15 siblings) so I enjoy spending the majority of my time with my family and friends. She has a teenage daughter who is in ROTC and enjoys cheerleading. Janelle has had the opportunity to travel and see many different places, but has found Colorado Springs to be one of the most beautiful and peaceful places to be.
