For many years, people have believed that a monster lives in Loch Ness in Scotland.


This is a photograph of the loch where the monster supposedly lives.


In 1933 the name"Loch Ness Monster" appears for the first time when a man claimed to have seen it. Lots of other stories of sightings began to appear in newspapers which created an interest within the public.

But there are reports from 1994 that reveal that the Surgeon's photograph was a hoax.

Over the years, many people have lied about seeing the Loch Ness Monster because photographs create money.
