With a range of weekly drop in classes, leagues and six week courses, you can get involved in as much, or as little as you like.

Whether you’re choosing which sports club or society to join, fancy volunteering with our Green Team or becoming a Student Rep, we have a taster session for you. It could be an existing passion, or perhaps you want to try something new – check out the events timetable for more information. We’ll be adding new sessions every day so keep up to date at thestudentsunion.co.uk/giveitago.

We’ve even set up our own Halls League where you can earn points by taking part in events or tagging us on social media with #UWEHallsLife. BRISTOL HIGHLIGHTS

Bristol is a great city to live in, with a diverse community and plenty to see and do. Here are our favourite things about living here…

MUSIC SCENE

DIVERSE COMMUNITY

GREEN CITY

Bristol has some of the best music venues in the UK and a hugely diverse music scene. With the O2 Academy, Colston Hall and Motion hosting some major artists and DJs, and many local music venues across the city providing daily live music.

From Georgian terraced houses to street art covered walls, Bristol’s streets are just as diverse as those that live here. With a vibrant AfroCaribbean carnival to Bristol Pride, the city is inclusive and welcoming for everyone.

As well as providing a bustling city life, Bristol also has some beautiful outdoor spaces to provide a peaceful break. Ashton Court is just a short walk from our City Campus and boasts 850 acres of grassland that you can walk or cycle around.

FOODIE SCENE If you love food, you’ll love Bristol. With some of the West Country’s finest eateries and a vibrant street food scene, we’re super spoilt for choice.

ARTS AND CULTURE Home to Banksy, Bristol’s streets are decorated with cool and quirky street art, Europe’s largest street art festival takes place here every year.
