The photos names: PHOTO 1: Friendship PHOTO 2: Whats the Secret PHOTO 3: Bullying PHOTO 4: Excitement Unrated PHOTO 5: Fighting PHOTO 6: Relationship PHOTO 7: Hug A Friend PHOTO 8: Why so Upset? PHOTO 9: Hello you PHOTO 10: Moody The final photos that I have made I am very satisfied with them because they all represent friendship and emotions in people. However they have different values and shot composition, for example the what’s the secret photo it has a quite simple composition as the faces are at centre of the photo, however there is little space around the two girls, where as in the Bullying photo this is there is a lot more space around the girl especially that is crying on the floor. However they are all tied together because they both show expressions of emotions and feelings with one another. Photos like what’s the secret and bullying is a metaphor for bullying and keeping secrets and basic under appreciation and disrespect of people's feelings. I have tried to give both of them different tones and exposers because I wanted to show to outlets of ways of hurting someone’s feelings Whats the Secret photo is the start of bullying but I wanted the tone and the exposer to be bright because it showed detail of the start of something that may turn sour, The reason I picked a darker tone for bullying was because I wanted to get the effect of people that have been bullied that they feel like they are in a dark place and that feel of being alone. However I didn’t change the exposer because it would have been to dark or to light to be able to connect with the photo. I adjusted the contrast and tones of the photos in postproduction in Photoshop so they would all fit into the series and no photo would look out of place. I thought I would name the photos so that it shows the subject it, which I’m trying to get across with my photos. I think all my photos stick to the theme very clearly, hence why I called the first photo friendship then people can then look through them and know what type of photos I was going for. Throughout the time of doing this unit I found some part difficult then others. For example editing my photos and making sure that I had got the message across, I wasn’t very good at the editing because I’m not that good with photoshop so that was the most difficult part. The easy part was coming up with ideas for my photos and wanted to make sure that they meant something to me and whoever was to look at my photos. All my photos were set up in a studio it was all planned, I wanted it as real as possible without going outside and taking photos of friends actually commicating because I wanted something out of it that is meanful. For example the hello you photo it shows ‘modern’ hello terms of how people commutate with each other and the meaning of kissing each other on the cheek to say hello,

Throughout unit 3 I have gained some very important skills through this unit such as how to construct an image. For example how to arrange the composition of a photo so there isn't too much in the frame to distract the audience from the subject of the photo. For example the relationship photo it shows a connection so I cropped it because there was something that the audience may of got distracted at so I cropped that out. I have also learnt how to produce different photos and for it to have a meaning for example when looking at a photo there are many ways in which you can look at it. My intentions were to make someone feel the emotions and feels that I wanted them to have. I think I have accomplished this because it all shows different friend and also different personality. However maybe I should have taken some outside so it looks ‘real’ and more genuine. I think I managed the project well with technical skills that’s what I have gained a lot of making and editing different kind of photos. Also the use of the camera I have learned a lot knowing the shuttle speed and to know how to take a decent photo. If I was to do it differently however I wouldn’t stick to one Idea and then go with it and then drop because my first idea was taking loads of photos of people around London e.g. shopping etc but I changed my mind so I wish I just stuck to one idea. Taking more exciting photos to and not so depressed and not on the same subject, mix it up a bit. Also have the knowledge first of all how to use photoshop, but now I do next time I would do a better job.
