Territories and home is a site-specific drawing project undertaken at Ipswich Town Hall between January and April 2014. Each drawing in this book is part of a large work drawn from the lines and cracks that trace the history, and movement within the narrative of the building. The building ages as do those who pass through it – each leaves a mark and contributes to the aesthetic of the building. Therefore I perceive these drawings to be an inherent collaboration with the building itself – for if it weren’t for the existence of the Town Hall these drawings wouldn’t exist.
