Welcome to the 2012 Ely Photographic Club Photo Exhibition + Competition Dear Visitor Welcome to the 4th Annual Photography Exhibition hosted by the Ely Photographic Club. Our aim is to showcase some of the wonderful work produced by local photographers who are all members of the club. We would like your help to judge the members photographs by selecting your favourite image on the voting slip included with this programme.

Please take your time to view the images and why not stop for a tea/coffee and some home made cakes, yum!

If the exhibition inspires you to improve your own photography skills why not consider joining the club. We meet every Wednesday evening at Ely College Library and the first meeting of the new season is on Wed 19th Sept so come along and see what it’s all about.

The club caters for all levels of ability and is a perfect environment to learn from experienced members.

About the Club The Ely Photographic Club was formed back in 1974 and caters for members with a range of experience, from seasoned professionals to those of us who just like to get out in the countryside with a point and shoot. You don’t need to own an expensive digital SLR camera or be a whiz with Photoshop to become a member and take good photographs.

We hope to inspire photographers to develop and improve their photography by entering competitions and in some cases working towards photographic qualifications.

Become a Member: Understand what makes great a picture.

Learn where and when to go and take that perfect shot.

Learn how to process and mount your images.

Share your images and enter club competition.

Go on photography excursions with other club members

How to Join: Pick up a membership form: Available at the exhibition or download a copy from our website. Alternatively come along to the Meet and Greet event on the 19th Sept to see what’s in store at the club this season and if your are interested why not attend the first few events as a non-member to get a feel for it.

Non-members are welcome to attend occasional weekly events, practical sessions and presentations.
