They provide appropriate patient care; apply critical thinking skills in the administration of treatment protocols, tumor localization and dosimetry; collaborate with members of the healthcare team; and maintain appropriate patient records. Students pursuing a career in radiation therapy will complete 24 credits at Elmhurst College and 14 months of clinical education at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Upon completion of the 14 months, the student will receive a bachelor’s degree with a biology major from Elmhurst College. A minimum of 24 credits, with grades of C or higher and a grade-point average (cumulative and prerequisite science courses) of 2.5 must be earned to be eligible to apply.
